This was the most amazing experience of my life. We explored many parts of the island, including the volcano National Park, walking through lava tubes, standing over the steam vents and arriving to the top of a crater rim for a picnic. The house was a great place to hangout at. We snorkeled with the sea turtles and made our way over to champagne pond. Audrey was so helpful and even arranged for a private masseuse to come and give us all massages in the yard. I will definitely want to come again.

Our family of 18 people on vacation here at Kapoho Beach had an amazing time! Weather was perfect everyday and we were able to go see a lot of the Big Island. Had to affirm I personally enjoyed fishing every morning with Audrey, she shared her bait & tackle & years of wisdom with me & my husband! I had such an amazing time here that I am trying to talk the hubby into moving here! Haha! Thanks for wonderful memories! They will last a lifetime!

Whenever we came to the Big Island for a vacation, we always stayed on the other side of the island. Being able to stay in Pahoa, on the Hilo side was a real treat waking up to see the sunrise & sunset, going fishing, swimming over in champagne pond All a treat. Thanks for everything and we will hopefully be back!!

We spent 7 days here and loved every minute! Our boys are 3 & 8 years old and enjoyed swimming across to Champagne pond everyday. The house is spacious, clean & so comfortable! The lawn area is huge for kids to run around, flying kites, & having fun! The setting is gorgeous and our caretaker Audrey is so gracious! We can't wait to come back!

We greatly enjoyed our stay. The "living Sea scape" was a constant source of entertainment, as were the black crabs & sea turtles. The night sounds, mostly, frogs & crickets, reminded us that this is "shared space". This is a perfect spot to kick off your flip flops and relax. Adurey, was an instant friend and source of information. Mahalo & Aloha!

Thank you so much for the most wonderful vacation EVER! - Oceanside Home - Snorkeling out our front door - fresh fish caught by Audrey - bicycling the Volcano - Zipline in Hawi - Shopping in Kona - Standing in Southern most point in the USA - Lava Boat Sunset Tour But best of all, the hospitality of our caretaker (hostess Audrey) who is the finest repersentative of Hawaii possible. There aren't enough English words to express it, so Mahalo!

I wanted to take a minute and let you know how much we enjoyed both properties. We had such an incredible and relaxing time in Hawaii and that is because of where we stayed for the week! We enjoyed the sun rising over the water every morning and jumping in and snorkeling each day. I enjoyed talking with Audrey, every morning, while she fished. It was nice to know if we needed anything she was just steps away. She made our transition from one place to the other flawless. Thank you for opening up these awesome vacation homes! We will highly recommend these places if any of our friends plan a trip to Hawaii.

The sound of the ocean is fun to listen to and remind Dick of his Navy days. It is fun for us to enjoy the warm weather, the flowering plants and green grass. The color of brown is what we're use to this time of year. But Colorado is another beautiful part of our great country Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Aloha! Beautiful ocean view and easy access to champagne pond. We live in Kona 1/2 the year and enjoy snorkeling there, but we also love coming over here to snorkel in the pools. Audrey is a wonderful person. Thank you for your hawaiian hospitality! Another great experience!

As many times as we've been to Hawaii, this is our favorite place to stay. The snorkeling and turtles were unforgetable! You never know what Audrey, Allen. or Muhammad will show up on your doorstep with! The view is amazing, and very relaxing! Mahalo!

What a very wonderful thing for you to do. Share your place so many can enjoy the beauty and peace Hawaii has to offer. My family and I had such a wonderful time. Just got back from 4 fabulous days at this home. Our only regret was that we didn't know how good it would be otherwise would have stayed longer. As busy people, this was the real beachouse, get away from it all, perfect holiday (even with 3 kids and a teenager). Ocean on your doorstep but swimming with the turtles really capped it off. We WILL be back.

Snorkeling with the turtles at 7am was an unforgetable memory to tap back into when things get tough. The sound of the waves slapping the shore is calming. Our stay was wonderful and we thank you. We wil remember our stay and hope to return someday.

Had a great time hope to be back soon. Loved the sea turtles. Best view out the two walls of windows. Loved the sound of the waves all day and night. Champagne pond was nice and warm but where were the fish? Go to the tide pools at Kohala formany fish.

We came here in 2001, for a picnic after Russell and Co's wedding, so we thought it would be fun to have the place to ourselves for a few days on our next rip. We enjoyed being away from the crowds and especially loved the snorkeling and seeing the sea turtles. This is a perfect location- Thanks for sharing it with us! We also toured the Volcano Park & visited the Balck sand beach at Pun LUU. Hope to come back & visit again sometime.... Aloha!
