This Shipyard Condo was awesome. The large deck with table provided a wonderful spot to eat while watching the spectacular sunsets in Key West. The location was ideal....close to everything either by walking or using one of the bicycles provided. All beach items were provided....chairs, noodles, coolers, towels, etc. You won't be disappointed when renting this unit.

Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, age 55+, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We Had The Best Time Ever!

This condo is the perfect place to stay in Key West. This was our 11th trip back to Key West but our first at this condo. The condo was clean and fully set up exactly like described. The complex grounds are also well cared for. I love that it is on the quiet side of the complex with no one behind the unit except the entrance to Fort Zach. Although we didn't cook, the kitchen was completely stocked with everything needed to prepare a meal including a nice gas grill on the back patio. The sunsets were beautiful from the back patio as well. WiFi worked great & bicycles an added bonus. They were great for sightseeing and quick pick-ups from Faustos. This condo is within walking distance to everything which makes it very convenient. One of the best features is the helpful owners! They are so organized, helpful in answering all questions, and provided keys, island info, maps etc. within plenty of time before our arrival. We really loved this place!

I'll never stay anywhere else in Key West!

My husband and I stayed at this condo for two weeks for our wedding and honeymoon in Key West. I can not say enough good things about the location, the actual condo, and the amazing owners. The condo is updated and has comfortable furnishings. We were able to invite friends over to watch the amazing sunsets on the back deck (which is huge) and cook meals comfortably when we wanted. The Shipyard Condominium Complex is a 2 block walk from Duval Street for all of the restaurants, bars, and shops you could want to visit and a 2 block walk to Ft Zachary Taylor State Park. One of the things we appreciated about the location is that it was located within the Truman Annex which is a gated community of residential homes and condominiums, which made us feel safe abandoning our car to its assigned parking space (a few steps from the front door) for 2 weeks (trust me, you will not need or want your car at all). Also, the Truman Annex is the home to Harry Truman's Little White House, and in keeping with that level of prestige the entire complex is landscaped beautifully with lots of winding sidewalks to take you through the entire Truman Annex. Finally, the owners of this condo clearly take great care of the property, but also are truely kind and accomodating people. We received our keys and lots of info about the location a couple of weeks in advance and they even sent us a pre-addressed envelope to return the keys to them in (the post office is about 2 blocks away so we just dropped the keys off on our way out of town). We had a large group in town for our wedding and for some reason everyone always wanted to congregate at this great condo for sunsets on the back deck, we had family and friends that stayed in the same complex but in different condos and they were all jealous of ours. My husband and I love Key West and have been many times, but I can tell you with 100% certainty that we will never stay anywhere else again. I would and will recommend this specific place to all of my friends and family. Thanks again to these owners for providing us with an amazing place to spend our wedding and honeymoon!!!!

Never Wanted to Leave

My husband and I have stayed at this condo two times and are hoping to return again and again. The owner is wonderful to work with. The condo is as beautiful and clean as it appears in the pictures posted here. The location is great and a bike ride away from the beach at the state park. Can't wait to return.

our stay was more than we imangined ,comfortable,relaxing. fishing.bi plane flying,snorkeling,than back to our vac.home to enjoy a beautiful sunset from our deck.a very clean,quite place to vac.makes us want to stay longer, and,we will next year ,winters are bad recomend tortogas fishing plenty of restarants to chose from depending on your taste
