Located in the very center of Town! You will love this historic LP home built in 1906 and fully renovated in 2005. This charming 3 bedroom home is ideal for a couple, family or add the carriage house to the equation and invite your extended family. The carriage house has 2 bedrooms plus a day bed along with a well appointed kitchen, family room, washer and dryer. The house can be rented with or without the carriage house. The carriage house can be rented alone as well. The location is the best that the village has to offer.
From the house, you can easily stroll downtown to the wonderful shops and restaurants. You can walk to the Olympic skating rink or take a jog around Mirror Lake. If you are feeling adventurous, you can climb one of the high peaks which surround the area. There are many rivers close by for fishing, kayaking or whatever. Two 18 hole and one 9 hole executive golf courses are just minutes away. The surroundings make for an unforgettable experience on the links. Last but not least, Whiteface Mt. is 10-15 minutes away.
Unlike many properties in Lake Placid, a car is not required to access most of what Lake Placid has to offer. For example, if you take a stroll down the front yard and you will land on Main Street. You might also enjoy staying home. Imagine spending the evening on the blue stone terrace, with a beautiful lawn, rock walls and pine trees surrounding. Or better yet, picture sitting on an Adirondack chair with a warm breeze from the cast iron fire pit and a nice meal cooking on the gas grille.
There are 3 bedrooms in the main house with 2 1/2 baths upstairs. Two baths feature a soaking whirlpool tub. The third bedroom has a private half bath. In addition there is an additional full bathroom downstairs. The master bedroom has a queen size Swedish Tempurpedic bed, the middle bedroom features a queen size Posturepdic bed and the third bedroom features full size Tempurpedic bed as well The kitchen boasts custom cabinets with a DCS Range along with granite countertops and high end appliances. Last but not least, the gas fireplace makes breakfast and coffee that much more enjoyable.
