You will find a cozy living room with a wood-burning fireplace. There is a fully stocked kitchen and a separate dining with a table that expands to 102". The cabin has three decks, one with a gas BBQ, and an indoor washer/dryer for your convenience. The cabin is located on a private cul-de-sac road with lots of privacy. There are many slopes for great sledding all around the cabin.

Why the Owner Chose Summit Estates
Summit Estates is a great area - you can walk to the Snow Summit ski area, and the cabin is located just a few minutes drive to Bear Mountain (or shuttle from Snow Summit), markets, Big Bear Lake, and Big Bear Village. We are very close to hiking/biking trails and many fun activities during summer months. Located on a private, cul-de-sac road, we maintain the "mountain hideaway" location which offers a great escape for year-round fun and relaxation. It is a perfect cabin for our family and is very special to us.

The cabin is on a secluded, peaceful private road - it is a great escape to enjoy many year-round mountain activities or just relax and enjoy! It is a great cabin for family get-togethers, celebrations, and reunions.

We have rented cabins in Big Bear for many years for our family. We had the opportunity to buy our own and were so fortunate to find our cabin, Steps-2-Summit. It is a perfect family cabin where we have enjoyed many special moments and happy family get-togethers. We can walk to the ski area, have lots of fun sledding and playing in the snow all around the cabin during the winter months. We also enjoy many great summer activities such as nearby hiking/bicycling trails, Alpine bobsleds, water slide, boating, nearby lake activities - water skiing, wake boarding and fishing. We hope you enjoy Big Bear Lake and our cabin as much as we do.

We loved your beautiful clean home. The location is great. There were 6 adults and 5 children, everyone enjoyed the play room. There were plenty of beds so that everyone was comfortable. Seven of our family had ski lesson's and are ready to go again, they all loved it and couldn't stop talking and laughing about the whole trip. Five of them were here from Australia. Thank you.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We recently rented this house for our yearly family vacation. We had 7 adults and 2 kids. There was plenty of room for everyone and the property was exactly as described. The home was clean and well maintained. The owner was easy to deal with and contaced me immediatley upon receiving my VRBO request. The owner was prompt in refunding my security deposit too, which was not the case for other properties I had rented in the past. There are many activites available in Big Bear. We enjoyed the boat ride around the lake, the Alpine Slide, hiking and biking. We also enjoyed shopping in the Village and the great hamburgers at Get A Burger. I would definitely recommend this property for your vacation stay.

We stayed in this house over New Years - a total of 4 families and had a great time. House is very clean, spacious, and well-stocked. We especially enjoyed being able to go right out back and go sledding and build snowmen. The pool table and fooseball table were also lots of fun. Also very conveniently located for all local activities - skiing, intertubing, zoo, village, lake, etc. Would highly recommend this house!
