When you drive up to the ranch on a private, secluded road, you’ll know that you have arrived at a destination that will provide a very special retreat. Set on five private acres, the property is framed by the rolling Sapphire Mountains to the east and the rugged peaks of the Bitterroot Mountains to the west.

Enjoying the views, watching the abundant wildlife and listening to the soothing sounds of the outdoors are easy to do from the expansive back covered deck and from the glider bench rocker on the front porch. The deck is outfitted with a snazzy slate patio set and a stainless steel propane gas grill perfect for outdoor entertaining. No worries about leaving your vehicles outside since the home offers a two-car oversized garage.

The spacious home has been designed and outfitted to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. It is an ideal location for a romantic getaway, family reunion or a place for friends to gather and share good times. The large room sizes make hanging out together easy, and yet the home’s layout also affords privacy when you need time alone!

The stunning main level of the home (you'll love the wood Cathedral ceilings) includes two bedrooms, two bathrooms, gourmet kitchen, full-size dining room and a laundry room with front-loading washer and dryer set. The downstairs of the house offers another two bedrooms, a bathroom, full-size kitchen, recreation room with pool table, ping-pong table and TV, and a washer and dryer set.

You’ll love cooking in the gourmet kitchen with the Thermador gas stove, Bosch dishwasher, microwave and confection oven. We have outfitted the kitchen with plenty of dishes, pots and pans and appliances, you will be amazed how well stocked it is! A breakfast bar with two stools provides a pleasant space to hang out and savor your coffee or cocktail, or perhaps surf the web on your lap top since the home offers free hi-speed internet service.

Another place to relax is the living room where you can enjoy the large stone gas fireplace, watch television (satellite TV service) or listen to music on the Sony home stereo system. You can bring you own DVD movies or enjoy the movie collection at the home. The dining room table seats eight to ten people and faces a large picture window overlooking the pastoral Bitterroot Valley.

This vacation retreat offers you the best of all worlds. You are away from it all, and also in the mist of incredible outdoor adventure opportunities. Shopping and tasty restaurants are minutes away and the towns of Darby and Hamilton are great places to take in a movie, get a massage, drink a beer at a local brewery or stop in for killer deserts at friendly local bakeries. And don’t forget the close proximity to fun, funky Missoula!

  • An absolutely tremendous view! The home is incredibly comfortable and cozy. It is well stocked and has all of the first class amentities one could ask for. The location is perfect - quiet, private and a valley view that certainly takes more than a week to soak up. The layout of the house was great: with two living areas is was very conducive to our family and would be even better for two families. Our week here was not enough - next time we will be back for two!! Thank you!!
