A Rocky Mountain High Value

What an amazing setting for this lovely, romantic, rustic log cabin. We could not believe that we had our very own mountain creek that we could see and hear all day long. We spent so much time on the deck eating, talking, and reading. There is an incredible hiking travel, the Spring Creek Trail that runs along side the cabin just across bridge. Whether you walk, run, or bike it is a great trail. We were traveling with our small dogs. Needless to say, they loved the trail and the deck. The cabin is fully stocked and we do mean fully. The WiFi allowed us to share our vacation with loved ones back home. Stephanie is so helpful and does everything possible to ensure that you have a wonderful stay. Even though my husband and I are retired, we still cherish our vacations. And this one will be remembered for a very long time. You will not be disappointed with this cabin.

Second year in a row for us, we're hoping to make this trip a family tradition. Be warned, this cabin will ruin you for other rentals. The location is idyllic and the cabin well stocked. Bring in some groceries, pour a glass of wine, sit on that deck and enjoy. If you are feeling too lazy, walk up the road or ride your bike in to town.

Owner response:Thanks! We try hard to be well stocked so your vacation is a breeze,. We definitely think this little slice of heaven IS idyllic. Glad you caught the vibe. We know we are doing something right with the number of returnees and our full occupancy for summer. We love that our renters have been respectful of our little gem and take good care of it for us. We like sharing it with people who can appreciate it's beauty and simplicity. Thanks for the lovely review.

This cabin is perfect we had such a fantastic stay. It is cozy and feels like home. There is even all the kitchen dishes pots and pans anything you may need for a home cooked meal. The store was a five minute drive. This property has a lot of places to hike right out side the front door. We are even close to strawberry springs for a nice dip in the hot springs. we are planning our trip back for this year again and cant wait. Thanks for a great place to have our new traditions!

We just returned from a family vacation with my 2 and 4 year old children. So much to explore on site and just up the road. Charlotte caught her first fish in the pond up the hill! I loved sitting on the deck watching the creek go by. So close to town everything is at hand but worlds away. We are already planning our return trip.

Private retreat but soooo convenient!

Can't say enough good things about this property! If you are seeking a private retreat soaked in sunshine and nature, surrounded by the sound of a rushing stream, steps from fishing and hiking- a place where you would never have get in your car for your whole vacation.... this is the place! Or if you want to enjoy shopping, restaurants, the hike and bike trail along the Yampa and all the amenities of Steamboat and still never have to get in your car for your whole vacation... you've got it! This well-outfitted, pretty, and comfortable cabin has it all! You can walk to town, walk up Spring Creek trail to the ponds or beyond to Buff Pass, or you could just sit on the deck all day by the stream and enjoy the privacy and beauty of the cabin's site. It is perfect for a couple or a family or a group of close friends, and everything you could want or need is provided. After renting numerous great cabins in the Steamboat area, I have to say Spring Creek Cabin has been my favorite! And if you like to explore the area north and south, but you like feeling like you are away from it all, the cabin's location just above Old Town off Spring Creek Trail makes it easy to go to North Routt, to Strawberry Park and Buff Pass, to Rabbits Ears and the Flat Tops equally easily. And Fish Creek Falls is a hop away if you only have time for a quick alternate hike to Spring Creek. I highly recommend this cabin!

Great Cabin!!!

My husband and I took our 2 boys (4 & 7) to the cabin and we loved it. It's in a great location and the boys loved sleeping upstairs in the "loft". My husband and I spent a lot of time sitting on the deck and watching and listening to the stream flow bye. It was a very relaxing place to stay and the boys want to go back and stay there again. It's perfect if you want to take advantage of the trail that goes right by the cabin. My husband rented a mountain bike and rode the trail about 2-3 times a day and I got a chance to walk it by myself as well as all four of us taking an evening stroll through the pine and aspen trees. Just beautiful. Thanks again Stephanie, you were a joy to do business with and we hope to return to Spring Creek Cabin in the future.

Our friends gushed about the cabin, so we booked it for 3 days around the Steamboat Half and fell in love with it. We're already planning our next trip! The cabin is absolutely gorgeous, right on the stream, and cozy.

Thank you so much for the use of your wonderful cabin!!! We loved the location, close to town but secluded enough to seem miles away. The cabin had all the comforts of home and we enjoyed having the fireplace at night. Loved the creek and all of the hiking trails close by! We will be back! Starla Wolfe

Wow! What a great cabin - so close to downtown and yet away from it all. Our family of 5 had so much fun exploring the area - and the cabin was just the right size for us. We loved riding our bikes down the dirt road right out the door, we explored many of the hiking trails within a short drive, and of course the hot springs. You have a little piece of paradise in Steamboat Springs! The cabin had everything we needed and with wireless we were able to stay longer than we had planned! Thank you!

From the minute we pulled up infront of this cabin we were filled with excitement. What a wonderfully peaceful spot and the setting is georgeous. Then we opened the door and we were WOWed by it's ambiance! We decided we would return 3 times a year to visit our newest "best place ever", to sit on the back deck and listen to the creek! This is a rare and unusual find with everything you need to relax and renew. We loved that it is close to town and hiking/biking trails and to the hot springs. Thank you Stephanie for sharing the magic of this place with us!

We really hit the "jackpot" when we were searching for a getaway in Steamboat Springs, CO. This cabin is the perfect place to loose your troubles and revive your spirit. The creek is a wonderful melody in the background inside or out. I haven't slept so well in months! The hiking up Spring Creek Trail is so convenient, right out the front door. As well, the one mile trek to DT Steamboat is easy. The deck was our favorite aminity. A great place to read, sip wine and get lost in watching the creek. We had everything we needed (including wireless, stereo, DVD!). Very comfortable and cozy. Thanks for sharing this beautiful place. A great way for us to start the summer!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Spring Creek Cabin. The pictures do not do it justice. It is truly everything that the website says it is and more. I had a girls weekend with my mom and Aunt at the cabin and we enjoyed ourselves so much. From the fire in the wood stove to the creek outside ........ it was relaxing, beautiful and exactly what we wanted. Having Spring Creek Trail right outside the door was great as well. The place was very clean, had everything you would want for a nice mountain getaway. Thanks again Stephanie for sharing your cabin with us. We will definitely be back again soon.

Truly an amazing escape. The photographs don't do the property justice. You are close to town with a feeling of seclusion. We spent most of our time out on the deck listening to the creek. The cabin has very amenity you would ever need and it is very clean. We are looking forward to our next visit next summer and have emailed our families photos.

Owner response:We now have some awesome pictures of the cabin and surroundings that a guest took. Check out the link to the Picasa website for more and better views of the cabin.. inside and outside. Thanks for your response. Glad you enjoyed our little slice of heaven.

We truly enjoyed our time at your cabin. It was very comfortable and peaceful. I think we almost met your resident mink out on the deck. We'll definitely check with you again next year.

Dec 31...Year end! We close out our year after 4 more days at this delightful cabin. Contrasting the winter snow-scape with our visit here this sumnmer, it is a toss-up to choose a favorite time. The glow of the fire in the winter evenings may give a slight edge to this season. Back to Fort Collins, and looking forward to more time here!

Leaving this "Little Bit O Heaven" with a feeling of peacefulness. The serenity here is a thousand fold. We have walked amd talked and reminisced,... filled our tummies with good food..inhaled our surroundings-- rejoiced in the beauty and the quiet. Afraid we must return because it felt so good.

It seems your cabin has been renamed--"Heaven" as in "Let's go to Heaven." That is what it feels like, relaxed, no schedule,no pressures. The only problem is you never want to return to Earth!

Another wonderful family stay--this time affording all sorts of summer time fun:tubing down the Yampa, fishing and hiking up Spring Creek, watching the spectacular meteor shower from Strawberry Hot Springs. Thanks! It was so special to hear your nearby brook every morning and every evening
