The house itself (3000 sq feet/2 stories) is exquisitely furnished. As our pictures suggest, you will not be disappointed with the lush backyard that adjoins a mountain preserve and the 2 upstairs balconies with breathtaking mountain views.

Jump in the private pool or just lounge in the sun in or around the jacuzzi. Inside, relax in front of one of two fireplaces (one in the family room, the other in the master suite), or have a dining adventure in the spacious formal dining room. You'll LUV cooking in our recently-updated kitchen, with beautiful granite on all counters and the expansive island.

We have TVs, VCRs, and DVD players throughout the house; there's entertainment for everyone. And, of course, you can easily connect to the Internet if work or web-surfing is your thing.

Other upgrades include kitchen appliances (dishwasher and double-oven), decking on the master suite balcony, and a rod-iron railing separating the relaxing patio area from the pool. [Safety for young children and pets is definitely our priority!]

All utilities, even phone, are provided at no extra charge. Within minutes of the house you’ll find high-end resorts (like Wildhorse and The Pointe) and championship golf courses. For the outdoor enthusiast, there are biking, jogging, and walking trails just minutes from your doorstep. [Ahwatukee abuts South Mountain, one of the largest hiking parks in the country.] The community also boasts some of the finest swimming and tennis facilities in the Phoenix area.

And, of course, there’s gaming at any one of several nearby Indian casinos.

If professional sports are your thing, you've come to the right place: basketball (Phoenix Suns), football (Cardinals), hockey (Coyotes), and baseball (Diamondbacks).

  • There are a lot of choices in the Phoenix area, but I am really glad I picked this lovely and comfortable house. As others have noted, it is conveniently situated, close to everything you need. I was here for a month, mostly working, and the office was great. The kitchen -- with new appliances -- is very pleasant, large and well-equipped; even a meat thermometer for the holiday turkey! The neighborhood is quiet and great to walk/run in. I'm just sorry that in December it was a little too cool to use the beautiful pool, but the patio has great furniture for hanging out. The owners are extremely attentive and helpful. All in all, this is a great value and I would highly recommend it, whether you are working or playing.

  • What a wonderful location! Easy access to everything in a vibrant community. We found every possible convenience in the home, all shopping of any kind, resturants, recreational possibilities---all within 2 miles in any direction. Meanwhile excellent freeway access within a 1 1/2 miles. We easily made friends with other dog people, got plenty of exercise, and enjoyed unexpected hospitality from our landlords. What more could you ask? We were just sorry we didn't have the opportunity to use the full potential of this home for entertaining friends. Oh well, we can always make plans for next time!
