Thanks again to the homeowners for a wonderful experience with VRBO and for opening their amazing home to us. Everything was spotless and the whole process could not have been easier. The home is in a great location with fast access to anywhere in Phoenix. We hope to be back and would definitely rent this property again. The house itself was in very good shape, clean pool, all the needed amenities, and it was very easy to settle in make this our home away from home for the week. Thanks again for everything!

We love coming to Phoenix to enjoy the heat of the summer and sought out to rent a plce with its own pool rather than a place with a community pool and came across this home of Bill and Marcies. We arrived with our family and immediately felt at home. The house is well equipped and nicely furnished with comfortable furniture. The renovated kitchen has everything thing you can imagine and has wonderful new appliances and a huge island for preparing those outdoor BBQ meals by the pool. The bedrooms have very comfortable beds and you will never run out of towels!! There are bikes in the garage for a nice evening ride around the preserve and area or a quick run to the grocery store which is very close by. Access to the #10 is within minutes, but grocerys, shopping, restaurants and entertainment are all within the community. The backyard is equally as nice with the large pool (5 of us all floated around on air mattresses at one time and it wasnt cramped) There were lots of pool toys in the shed and many seating areas in the yard to capture either the sun or the shade. The preserve out back is a wonderul way to enjoy the Arizona desert while sipping on a cold beverage. The wildlife sounds make it quite welcoming and we were able to rescue 3 baby roadrunners while we were there. We would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone. Our children are mid teens and 1 young adult, who thoroughly enjoyed it, but with the fenced in pool area, would be great for a young family also. Bill and Marcie are wonderful hosts and are readily available should you need them. We are looking forward to seeing them again soon.
Owner response:Thanks so much for the kind words! We, too, look forward to your next visit! M.

Five of us over the hill gang gathered here for a daughter/niece's wedding/family reunion. Others stayed at condos nearby and in Scottsdale but everyone gathered here because "our" house was the greatest. We had all we needed to entertain and it felt like we were doing so from our own homes. Everyone from 70 to 2 enjoyed it and we had room for all to eat, chat and swim. The location is great and it never took us more than 20/30 minutes to reach any of our destinations. My husband spent a lot of time going to and from the airport picking up relatives so thank goodness we were 15 minutes away as the listing indicated. Great groceries nearby made life much easier too. We were met by the owner who gave us a detailed tour and rundown of the home so we really never had a question about where anything was. When we returned home, we sent pictures to our friends of the inside and outside of the home and so many want to go back with us next spring for a mini vaction that we're going to have to draw straws. We were there for a very busy week so didn't get to enjoy a lot of the aminities in the surrounding area but there were many places to eat and shop. Next time I want to enjoy bike riding (bikes are right there), golfing and sightseeing more because it's all right there for you. I could also tell this was a pet friendly home right down to the dog biscuit jar in the kitchen and the doggie bed so don't hesitate taking your pets. I always cross my fingers when renting a place by pictures only but this home was definitely even above and beyond what the pictures in the listing indicate and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

We stayed at Bill and Marcie's house in April 2010. The house itself is amazing and the pictures don't do it justice, the furnishings were both elegant and comfortable, the kitchen is amazing! We had with us our 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter who both loved it there. The backyard was large enough for them to have a play, take a swim and enjoy the AZ sunshine. Its located near everything you need and easily accessible to all of it. Its situated in a nice upscale neighbourhood which was safe and secure, the neighbours always waved when seeing us come and go each day. On our next trip to AZ, and we will be back, this house is at the top of our list for accommodations. The booking process was simple and easy....and Marcie is great to deal with! Thank you so much for everything Bill and Marcie....we'll be seeing you again soon im sure! :)

Hi Marcie, just wanted to thank you for the use of your home during our visit to Phoenix. The house and yard were fabulous and easily met and exceeded all of our needs. We also enjoyed some great golf courses including the Foothills which is right in your neighbourhood. We would love to visit again some time in the future. Mike, Sharon, Jan, Gerry Guelph, ON, Canada

There are a lot of choices in the Phoenix area, but I am really glad I picked this lovely and comfortable house. As others have noted, it is conveniently situated, close to everything you need. I was here for a month, mostly working, and the office was great. The kitchen -- with new appliances -- is very pleasant, large and well-equipped; even a meat thermometer for the holiday turkey! The neighborhood is quiet and great to walk/run in. I'm just sorry that in December it was a little too cool to use the beautiful pool, but the patio has great furniture for hanging out. The owners are extremely attentive and helpful. All in all, this is a great value and I would highly recommend it, whether you are working or playing.

What a wonderful location! Easy access to everything in a vibrant community. We found every possible convenience in the home, all shopping of any kind, resturants, recreational possibilities---all within 2 miles in any direction. Meanwhile excellent freeway access within a 1 1/2 miles. We easily made friends with other dog people, got plenty of exercise, and enjoyed unexpected hospitality from our landlords. What more could you ask? We were just sorry we didn't have the opportunity to use the full potential of this home for entertaining friends. Oh well, we can always make plans for next time!
