Spent a weekend here with a group of friends -- great location, very well-kept cabin, and wonderful property owner! Doug was great to work with and answered all of my group's questions quickly and simply. The hot tub was the best after a day of skiing! Thanks, Doug!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, age 55+.

A Thanksgiving weekend for the ages! Great early snow highlighted the great features of the cabin as we were forced inside for a full day. Great big rooms, nice hot tub for 6-8, excellent kitchen with all you need to cook. The TV set-ups on both levels kept all the kids entertained. And the "caretaker" was kind enough to make sure we didn't need any help with snow removal! Highly recommend the cabin, and dealing with the owners for setting it all up was very professional and easy.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

Year Purchased: 1993
About the owner: I've always enjoyed getting away from the bay area and visiting Lake Tahoe. When I was in college in southern california I used to make annual trips to Lake Tahoe with my friends. Now years later I have my own place to call a second home in Lake Tahoe. During the winter I volunteer as a National Ski Patroller helping people who are hurt on the hill at Sierra @ Tahoe. In the summer I enjoy bike rides through the forest right at the end of our street! It's amazing how many trails are available!
Why the Owner Chose Tahoe Paradise:
Originally I wanted to have my own property to use for skiing exclusively, but then I found out that there's even more to do at the lake in summer than in winter!
The Unique Benefits at this House:
Our property is in a nice neighborhood which is outside the hustle and bustle of South Lake Tahoe. Yet we're close enough to town so that trips in for dinner and activities are easily done. Being on a cul-de-sac has it's advantages as I never have to worry about the kids playing outside as we have virtually no traffic on our street!
