My mom and I looked at places to celebrate her 50th birthday at the end of April. We loved the location and pictures of this place so we waited until the next available week which was at the end of May to go (place books up fast and now we know why!). There are amazing views of the canal and water. On a daily basis you can see birds, manatees, and dolphins just from the living room. My mom loves to stay inside and stare at water from the comfort of an air conditioned room....this was perfect for her! The beach is only a 5 minute walk. With us staying on memorial day weekend we were worried about crowds, but the beach you can walk to wasn't overcrowded at all. The beaches have white sugar soft sand and warm turquoise blue water. All the stores you need are very close. A few minutes away is CVS, Walgreens, Publix, pizza, Chinese food, a health food store (for those of us who eat weird things like gluten free bread or soy milk).., everything you really need for a good vacation is only 5 minutes away. There's a trolley system (i.e. free bus line) that takes you up and down the island too. So if you don't have a car you can still walk to the grocery store...and take the bus to other areas of the island. There's a bus stop at the beginning of the neighborhood. Also, the kitchen is fully stocked so you can get groceries and cook meals if you choose. We didn't cook as many things as we planned since there are so many good restaurants very close by. The master bedroom has a very comfortable king size bed and a huge bathroom. I'm a super clean freak so my biggest concern was that i hate staying in old and dingy beach houses.....this place was bright, clean, and fresh! I highly recommend this place for my fellow clean freaks who are very fussy about where they stay. I will definitely be coming back for my next beach vacation. :)

I had a wonderful month long stay at this wonderful canal side home. Added bonus of owners living on-site, any queries dealt with immediately. Perfect location, sit by the canal and watch dolphins and manatees or only a 5 minute stroll to the beach one block away. Felt like home from the first day. (Devon and Warren - thank you so much - you both made me very welcome and I will certainly be visiting again.)
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

This was the second trip to Anna Maria Island. This time 6 adults staying at condo. All were happy and comfortable. Will continue to return to Island and stay at condo. It is PERFECT!

We stayed for 4 days in November 14-18, 2008 and it's a great place to stay. Beats any hotel. Easy walk to the beach. Grocery store and restaurants very close. Views from the massive living room are awesome and relaxing.
