The Penthouse

This 2 BD/1 BA penthouse villa offers everything you need to make your stay comfortable.
The master bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, two bedside tables with reading lamps, two closets, A/C and ceiling fan. The second bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed, bedside table w/reading lamp, armoire, A/C and ceiling fan. Both bedrooms have ocean views.
The bathroom has hand-painted Talavera tiles throughout, a large shower stall with soap/shampoo/conditioner dispenser and plenty of room for storing your toiletries.
The traditional old-Mexican inspired kitchen shows a colorful display of hand-painted Talavera tiles. The kitchen is complete with a six burner stove with oven, large refrigerator, microwave, toaster oven, coffee maker, blender, rice cooker, pots/pans and filtered drinking water.
Both the living room and dining area have views of the Caribbean ocean and are comfortably furnished. For your entertainment, there is cable TV, DVD player, Ipod docking station and a small library.

Just got back to cold-snowy Ohio from our sunny Christmas holiday at El Milagro. Everything was fantastic & I can't imagine staying with a friendlier bunch than Eric, Jaimie & the rest of the staff. They made us feel more like we were visiting friends than paying guests. We had two wonderful dinners prepared by the staff, the first a Christmas party for the staff & their families that all the guests were invited to. They grilled chicken,ribs,fish,& Jaimie even went next door to the fish co-op & secured a large lobster tail for my mother that was only $150 peso's (about $11 US) & grilled it for her, then we had a "pot luck" Christmas dinner of ham, turkey & all sorts of other dishes contributed the guests & staff. Best Chrismas dinner we've had in many years. The accommodations were comfortable, there is a nice little beach area (bayside) a small pool, kayaks & bikes for guests use, a small library, a new theater room with a huge screen for catching a game or for the kids to watch dvds, a large community kitchen (where the dinners were prepared) an outdoor bar & grilling area, & WiFi. There is a mini-super at the front of the complex, very handy for essentials (beer-soda-munchies) & large brand new grocery store about a half mile down the street. The locations is excellent, short ride to Centro,we rented a cart for our stay (72 year old mother not up to walking that much) but you could walk to town, or only 20-30 peso's for a cab. We stayed in the second floor penthouse,with the entire huge rooftop for our patio. Gorgeous views of Cancun & sunsets across the bay, & even more gorgeous sunrises from the other side over the Caribbean. We have found our home away from home on Isla Mujeres & El Milagro and already thinking about reserving for next Chrismas!!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

Posted on Trip Advisor “Can't wait to to back” El Milagro is a wonderful place to stay. We stayed for a week and it was very relaxing. Loved the private beach and the low key atmosphere. If you need something you can ask for it and they will help you out ASAP but there isn't someone there waiting on you hand and foot. Exactly the kind of place we were looking for. We did a lot of our own cooking in the cabana kitchen, ate meals in town, and best of all had the staff prepare us a couple dinners on the grill at the marina. They got us fresh fish and lobster from the fisherman next door and it was great! One thing to mention though is that this is a working marina and there are fishermen next door that start early in the day. If you are a late sleeper this wouldn't be the place for you. Fortunately, my husband and I are early risers so it was perfect. We had a golf cart for the week and would recommend getting one. You can walk to town just to eat or exercise but if you are carrying things back it could be a little long. Overall, best vacation yet. We will definitely make a return stay!
