Enjoy beautiful country views, with mountains and a forest, right out your front door! The Tamarack is a country home situated 8 miles from the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park. This large, cozy home will accommodate up to 12 people comfortably. With 5 bedrooms and 5 bathrooms, everyone can have their privacy and enjoy all the comforts of home. The Tamarack is also home to local wildlife such as moose, elk, deer and bear. There is plenty to do, no matter what the season, the area has so much too offer!

In the summer, you can enjoy fly-fishing with world famous streams, rivers and lakes, all within 30 miles! Hiking, horseback riding, white water rafting, kayaking, rock climbing, boating or maybe a walk into the forest right out the front door, all these activities are possible at the Tamarack.

In the winter there are miles of snowmobiling! With over 500 miles of groomed snowmobile trails outside of Yellowstone National Park, this area is truly a snowmobilers favorite! With our amazing snow levels, there is fresh powder to be found everywhere! The area is also home to cross country skiing. You can ski on our world famous Rendezvous Ski Trails, offering over 35 Kilometers of groomed trails. Downhill skiing is also a favorite, with Big Sky, Montana just 45 miles away, you can enjoy some fantastic mountain air. Snowshoeing is another winter activity, which can be done right out the front door! West Yellowstone offers plenty, summer or winter, there is always an activity to try. The Grizzly and Wolf Discovery Center, the Imax Theater with presentations daily, both are open year round. There is plenty of local shopping with gift shops on every corner. If you do not feel like cooking, then enjoy an evening out in one of West Yellowstone's many restaurants.
