Life's a Bear Getaway is a breathtaking, brand new cabin, situated in a private setting and built over a scenic mountain view. This secluded mountain getaway is located in the gated Coosawattee River Resort in Ellijay, Georgia, just an hour North of Atlanta. Fishing, hiking, tubing, year-round swimming, are all available.
Enjoy the rustic décor, with hardwood walls and floors, and large vaulted ceilings. Relax in front of the stone fireplace in the family room, while overlooking the picturesque view. Sleeping accommodations include a first floor spacious master suite. Master bath includes a whirlpool tub, walk-in shower and double vanities. Second floor has two bedrooms with a full bath and a large loft, with a queen size futon.
For outside entertaining, enjoy the double-deck wrap-around porch, with a hot tub that seats up to 6. This cabin includes a fully stocked kitchen, new furniture and appliances.

We have stayed here twice and have enjoyed it both times. The cabin is furnished very well and spacious. The hot tub is incredible and there is a lot to do in the area. Go to Amicolola Falls and hike the waterfall and try the buffet at the lodge, Hermann is fun for the kids and there is rafting, tubing and other outdoor activities everywhere.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, sightseeing, families with young children.
