This is the second time I have stayed in this apartment. We were greeted as were last year by Milton at the concierge desk. He is so helpful and kind, as are Wallly, and Mr Brown with an E as we call him. The view from the living room is amazing. The bedroom and bath are large and very comfortable. I can't imagine staying anywhere else. Everything is so close by (grocery store, train, fabulous resturants,). We always go just outside to tkts tkts for reduced priced theatre tickets. Bill is wonderful to work with. I can't wait to return next year

The condo was extremely quiet given the streets below. The huge windows made us want to stare out of them all evening. The linens were clean as were the kitchen and bathroom. The rooftop deck in the evening was a treat especially since the weather was very hot. TSQ Brasserie around the corner was a really nice French spot that was great for breakfast and served large portions. The Italian fast food buffet at the corner was open until 2:00am and came in handy a couple of evenings when the nights got too late and we were too tired to care. It was an exceptional stay! We could hardly pack up to leave, we wanted to stay.

ANNUAL GIRLS' TRIP TO NYC~~OUR NEW FAVORITE!!

Shhhh, I would rather keep this secret to myself but, in good conscience, I feel must share it with you. Every year we gals come to NYC the first week of December to shop and see shows. This year was more perfect than usual thanks to Bill's apartment. Location, Location, Location~~the BEST!! It has all the amenities necessary for comfortable luxury. All photos depict reality. The views from the living room, bedroom, rooftop garden, health club and game room are fantastic. From the apartment, you can see the Times Square hustle & bustle and actually watch the NY's Eve ball drop if you are lucky enough to be here!! Food and wine shopping were a short walk and the subway was right around the corner, less than a half a block's walk. Milton and the other concierges, as well as all the doormen, were super friendly, courteous and knowledgable. Many restaurants deliver here if you're too tired to go out after shopping all day. And the kitchen was so well equipped we made our own gourmet brunch every morning. Bill was professional, responsive and helpful and provided excellent instructions for everything. The kitchen is a perfect size for hiring a chef to come in to prepare a special dinner or to give cooking lessons. I am a travel consultant and will recommend this property to all my clients. But save the first week in December for us!!

Amazing Apartment in the Middle of Everything

Everything about this rental is top of the line. For the same price of a hotel room in Times Square, you can rent a fully furnished top of the line 1 bedroom apartment and save money by cooking some of your meals in the state of the art kitchen. Every amenity is in this apartment including wi-fi included in the price (try to find a hotel that offers free wi-fi), a printer for printing off tickets, bathroom items such as soap and shampoo, and a bed that is so comfortable you want to sleep in everyday. The location is amazing with everything within 1 mile and multiple subway stops within 2 blocks. The communication and arrangements were amazing and if I am ever in New York again, I will be staying at this property.

My husband and I stayed in Bills apartment 16D for only four nights, (not long enough in New York), it was fantastic staying here, we were right in Times Square with really cool views from our window, unbelievable and a magical first visit to New York. The Apartment is very clean and and very comfortable, it was a very welcome and comfortable sleep after flying from Australia that day. Has a great size bathroom, Very well equipped your every need has been thought of, Bill and his wife are great hosts, anything you need to know they are only to willing to assist. There is a concierge you can use if need to or you can just venture out and make your own way easily. Walking distance to lots of sights, you will do a lot of walking in New York. If you go to stay at Bills Apartment you wont be disappointed and pop in and say hi to Joe on 46th at Patzeria Perfect Pizza for some fun! There are many amazing places to eat, and so much to do and see, make sure you catch a show while you are there. I can't say enough just wish we had longer here. Thanks Bill & Barbara

We have just returned from a world trip, part of which was a week in Bills apartment in Times Square. We could not fault a thing and the view from the living room is overwhelming. The apartment is very roomy and has everything you require, it felt just like home, if only!! I had to pinch myself everytime I looked out the window. Times Square is buzzing 24/7 and every night looks like NYEve. We saw a different show on Broadway each evening,(the half price ticket booth is 4 mins from home) it's all so close, just 5 mins to all theatres.The service provided by both the day and evening concierge, Larry and Milton was fabulous, nothing was too much trouble. Bill was great to deal with also and provided us with all the information needed prior to our arrival. We WILL definitely be going back to this apartment, hopefully with more time next year. A fabulous location and you MUST stay here in NY City.It's seriously the ONLY apartment block, right in the middle of Times Square.There's restaurants everywhere and you can shop till you drop literally (the shops are open all night) Everywhere is accessable by subway or on foot. This is simply the BEST location and you really do feel like you live here as everyone in the block is so friendly.

Many thanks to Bill for giving the chance to rent this wonderful apartment - it's like coming home! A great place, very clean, equipped with everything you need, central located (e.g. Whole foods market on Columbus circle is just off) with a wonderful view on Times Square. You should not miss the view from the observation deck on the rooftop. The pictures are exacty what it looks like. Bills detailed discription leaves less questions. For further information all the different concierges are always kind and helpful. We would be really glad about renting this apartment again for our next stay :-) Thanks for the great support!!!

this apartment is fantastic. I have been to NYC several times and have stayed at the Crown Plaza and Double tree. this is by far the best. I will always stay here in the future. This trip was a Girls trip ( 3 of us) the concierge service was so personable and good. Every morning as we were leaving we were greeted and offered advise on where to go and how to get there. Comming HOME we were greeted as well with such friendly welcoming as if we did actually live there. My only negative is that if you are staying with more than 2 adults is the pull out couch is not sutable for an adult. It was not comfortable at all (keep in mind that I am a middle aged woman) and the extra pillows smelled bad (like sweaty hair) but would be fine for children. If we do this again as a group of adults I will not pull out the couch but sleep on the end. Other than the extra sleeping this was fantastic and will return most definatly

Our family decided to take a whirlwind trip to NY. Dad, mom and 2 kids under 10. The sleeping arrangements in the condo were perfect. My husband and I slept in the separate room, while the kids sprawled out on the pull out couch and chaise. The views were amazing, along with hearing NO street noise. The location was perfect, and all of the staff at the entrance of the building were extremely helpful. The owner went out of his way to make our stay the best it could be. The kitchen and bathroom seemed to have anything and everything we would need as a family with kids. This was a home away from home, which was exactly what we were looking for. Come and enjoy!

We have just returned from five fabulous weeks in the US. We spent three nights in New York at this wonderful location. This was our first visit and the apartment couldn't have better located for us. Central to everything and a quiet haven to come back to at the end of a very long and busy day. I was great to be in the busyness of Times Square and then moments later be looking down on it from the quiet and comfort of Bill's apartment. We were a party of 4, our children 16 and 11 slept on the pull out lounge. The king size bed was the most comfortable bed we had whilst away, it was lovely to sink into it at night and rest our weary feet...very comfortable. Oh and the bathroom is big and has great water pressure in the shower, another nice bonus after a full day of site seeing. A wonderful location, a superb apartment, a fabulous city and an all too short stay. Hopefully we'll be back one day. Thanks Bill!

Location! Location! Location! This was the perfect place to stay to see the highlights of Times Square & New York. Bill was very helpful with extra information eg. dining, sights. We didn't want to leave as the apartment was so comfortable with great views, friendly staff and in the best location to visit Radio City, the Rockefeller Centre, Tiffany's, Broadway shows, Toys R Us, and eat chocolate at Hershey's across the road and at the 3 story M&M building right next door! This IS the place to stay if you visit NYC! Our girls shopping trip could not of gone better. From the location, the views and the lights, did I mention the location? So much is within walking distance; the theaters, restaurants, shopping and the subway. The kitchen worked perfectly, great water pressure in the shower and the bed was amazing! The concierge and doormen were very helpful and made us feel like family everytime we saw them. Working with Bill was easy and a pleasure. He recommended some excellent restaurants that we tried and really enjoyed. Thank you again Bill for a wonderful visit - we know where we will be staying when we come back to NYC! Kudos!

We stayed in this wonderful condo four nights last week and didn't want to leave! The condo was beautiful and everything was as described. The views were spectacular! Wonderful restaurants, bakeries, shopping, theaters, Radio City Music Hall and much more all within short walking distance. You could not ask for anything more for a visit to New York City. We have just returned from the US and loved this great condo, wow what a view!!My teenage sons loved it! It is a wonderful location and the condo was very clean with great appliances and a very comfortable bed. My wife, sons (ages 6 and 8) and myself had the pleasure of renting this condo for 4 nights in June. Amazingly the cost was cheaper than the Crowne Plaza hotel across the street, yet it had SO much more. Bill was easy to work with for reserving the nights we wanted. He sent me info on their favorite restaurants, things to do, etc and was very helpful. He even called after we arrived to confirm that everything was to our satisfaction. The view from both the living room and bedroom were amazing....we couldn't get enough. The TV and DVD player were great...we were able to pick up a movie one evening, have some pizza and relax. Kitchen was great. It was nice to have a Washer/Dryer...only issue was they would only take very small loads and were SLOW...had to dry multiple times for only a few small items. I would HIGHLY Recommend this rental. I already have recommend to multiple friends and want to visit again next year. (Oh, and my 6 year old says when he grows up he is going to live there!)

I was very nervous about renting from a person rather than a hotel, but Bill was amazing from the start. We stayed for 5 nights and loved it so much, we begged to add one more night! After a week in New York with Broadway shows, the US Open Golf Tournament, sightseeing and wonderful restaurants...the one thing my family and I are STILL talking about is how amazing this place was. It really made the trip. It is spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and in a great building. Being golfers we were excited about the outdoor putting green with a view of Times Square, and the golf swing simulator by the fitness center. For those of you concerned about location- you simply cannot get any better than this. It is smack dab right in the center of Times Square. The doormen were amazing and went above and beyond their call of duty. I PROMISE you will not be disappointed with this condo. Thank you again Bill for the dream vacation spot. Such a wonderful and safe place to stay and enjoy NYC! My daughter, granddaughter and I wanted to be staying in Times Square after the theater and this was a grand choice. Would recommend the accommodations of this condo - everything nice and clean and well stocked. Concierge/doormen were a terrific help and made us feel at home whenever we came back during the day or evening. Elevators always worked, small things worked too! Always a bonus. Just wanted to let everyone know that this condo was fabulous!! Working with Bill was a breeze. He truly wants to make your stay enjoyable! The condo was exactly as described. The location was very convenient to just about everything we wanted to see or do.This was my daughters, ages 15 and 11 first trip to NYC. They were very amazed with the view. All the lights, the signs, the M&M Store in the SAME building.They were in heaven! Walking to Magnolia's Bakery is a must!!! I highly recommend this condo for families, couples, friends. The staff were very helpful and polite. The next time we go to NYC, 1600 Broadway is THE place to stay!! We'll be back!!

We just returned from a one week stay in NYC at Bill's fabulous condo. It is just as lovely, comfortable and well-appointed as the photos. The location is unbelievably convenient, safe and for us, ideal. All of our nightly activities (4 Broadway shows and a night at the Iridium Jazz Club) were all within 1 - 2 blocks, so we could leave the condo 20 minutes before the show and be comfortably seated by show time with no stress! There is a fabulous grocery within 2 blocks, pointed out to us by the wonderful staff at the front desk, and some hidden gems of restaurants very close by. We rode the subway daily and it is very close as well. We have stayed in first class hotels by central park, condos in the village, but this was by far our favorite place to stay in NYC. Can't wait to come back, only hope it is available after all of the rave reviews. Many thanks to Bill and the wonderful staff at the desk for a great time in the big apple!

Stayed here in October 2007 .Sorry for the delay in posting my very big thank you to Bill for providing our family with the perfect place from which to enjoy NYC. Imagine the looks on my 2 teens faces when they realise that we are right in the middle of times square , M & M heaven just below, Hershey's accross the road. The flashing neons, the friendly staff in lobby- everything was wonderful. Just perfect for a family of 4-having a kitchen was great- you can't eat out every meal. Thanks again- I have told many of my fellow Aussies about it.

I just came back from a three day business trip to NYC and can't rave enough about my experience with this unit and this unit owner. The building location is incredible, and the views from the apartment are better than any hotel I have stayed in while in NY. The bed was super comfortable, the unit was perfectly clean and appointed like a first class hotel. I have to say that after running around NYC on business each day I always looked forward to coming back to the apartment and that wonderful shower. I hate to dwell on the shower, but it was roomy, great hot water flow and the rain shower head was the best I have ever used. I do not hesitate recommending this unit, but I fear it will not be available for my next visit. I will check this units availability before I book another hotel in the city!!! Finally, I have never used VRBO before and feared how the experience would feel next to a hotel. The owner of this unit is amazing as he not only prepares a resource guide to using all the great amenities of the apartment and building, but compiles user friendly notes on sites to see, etc... This was a GREAT experience!

We rented this condo for a week in September and I just wanted to share our experiences. Right from the start the owner, Bill, was good to deal with. He was very helpful with information and suggestions, and very accessable with immediate responses to e-mails, phone calls, etc. Financial transactions went through with no problems. The condo itself is very nicely furnished, very clean and quiet. The views are amazing, both from the condo and the roof top garden. The pictures on the web site do not do this unit justice. The building itself is very nice and all staff are very friendly and helpful. The location could not be better. It is within walking distance of all the main attractions. I would not hesitate to recommend this property to anyone or to stay there again, should we go back to NY. What more can I say!?!? Thanks Bill!!!

Just to say how much we enjoyed our trip to NY and that the condo is fantastic! The location on Times Square was a great base for sightseeing and absolutely stunning. The quality of the furnishings and equipment was excellent and we felt that the condo was a calm oasis in the frenzy of the city. Also, the staff at the entrance were very friendly and welcoming. Wow, what an amazing week. I took my teenage daughter, her friend, and my best friend to NYC over spring break and we had a blast. INCREDIBLE! My husband and I just spent spring break with our 3 young kids (9,6,2) at this property and we were delighted! (Even family who lives in NYC were impressed with this property.) This condo is safe, immaculate, well-appointed, and centrally located---staying anywhere else would be disappointing after this place! Easy access to multiple subway lines and Gray Line bus tours as well as Broadway at your door. We would recommend this NYC property without any reservations.

We visited NYC 2/2008. The best compliment you can pay to the owner is adding your comments to this page. Wow, what a place! The condo was great! You can stop looking, you've found THE place to stay in NYC. The price is better than any hotel for the same size and close to everything! The views from the living room, bedroom, balcony, and top floor observatory were stunning - better than the pictures show. I could not have asked for more and thanks to our host, I was able to give my kids one of the most memorable vacations they will ever remember. I love this unit...... I normally go for hotels ..but...after staying in this unit...I will NEVER stay in a hotel again. Bill was a pleasure to work with and the unit was perfect for getting around town. It was close to everything! The doorman knew our name as soon as we walked in the door and didn't forget it the intire duration of our stay. What a great apartment! Truly mind boggling views of everything that is NYC! The pics don't do justice however to what a nice, clean, beautifully decorated apartment this is. The shower in the bathroom was sublime. The kitchen was open and spacious and the bed really comfy. Be sure to check out the viewing area on the roof as it is really cool. The gym was fully equipped and the virtual golf was so fun. The people at the front desk were delightful as was the owner, who made everything easy and smooth. Even the stagehand strike, couldn't put a damper on our trip. Thanks again and I'll be back!

I echo exactly all that has been said here! Don't know what more I could add other than do not eat too many M&M's from the corporate store that takes up the first 4 floors of the building with videos of mr M&M himself playing 24/7 off both corners...wow! They melt in your mouth and not in your hands ;-) Very quiet in side of apartment thou :-) Also it is everything it is described to be. My wife Irene arranged this 5-day trip to New York, to celebrate my 60th birthday. We were accompanied by our two sons, Colin & Steven. We'd never been to NYC before, and to say that this apartment took our breath away is an understatement! It is tremendous in every way. The location in the heart of Times Square just couldn't be better, and the building is extremely well run by friendly & helpful staff (thanks Milton & co). The apartment itself is nothing less than superb, and is without doubt the best place we've ever stayed in. It can be unreservedly recommended, and we look forward to hopefully making a return visit. We just Had a girls trip to NYC for the first time. What an awesome place this condo was! This condo was the perfect place to stay, The location couldn't be better, so close to everything, The theatre District is one block away! I would highly recommend staying at this condo before staying at an hotel. The owners were wonderful to work with. We will be back!!

The use of this property for our recent vacation to New York City was easily the very best part of a wonderful trip. The rental transaction was easy to understand and we felt very safe and comfortable with the financial aspects. Upon arrival, the 24hr lobby staff made checking in almost like "coming home." The accomodations were precisely as advertised; 5 star level in every way. The place was spotless and all the decor, furnishings and fixtures were of the highest quality. One of the best things was the location. We found ourselves 1-4 blocks from each of the several Broadway shows we attended. Wonderful restaurants and shopping were seemingly everywhere; the apartment was literally ON BROADWAY with a fantastic view of Times Square. Believe the photographs, they ARE the real views. Nobody could have been easier nor more accomodating than the polite and kind owners of this luxury property. Each of our questions was answered and we were treated like family...but the apartment did NOT have the clutter and feeling we were invading somebody's personal space. This was VERY important to us; it felt like our own beautiful luxury apartment in Manhattan while we were there. In our considerable experience with hoteliery, we have never enjoyed any accomodation as much as this one. We'll definitely be back!

We found the apartment to be immaculate, well situated and we felt very safe. The 24 hour doormen were helpful and friendly. The location is great for tourists, tour buses start across the road. Parking is available in the surrounding area at reasonable rates (for New York!). The theatre district is exciting and busy. The view is spectacular from the roof and the apartment windows. I have already recommended this incredibly well equipped apartment to many friends and my daughter intends to return very soon. We had no problems with payment by credit card and the security deposit was refunded swiftly. Given more time in New York I'm sure we would have enjoyed the gym and the other communal parts of the building. If you want to live like rich New Yorkers this is the place to be! I'll visit again.
