Don't bring all that beach stuff!
This villa comes with beach gear (check out our video) and cleaning! Tired of climbing stairs? This lower unit is easily accessible and the lower height is more toddler friendly. Our villa also includes cable TV and roadrunner internet (if you're trying to keep up with your email).
Hey, you've got enough to pack. You know....those sandy beach chairs, sticky boogie boards and half sprung umbrellas? Leave them at home! We provide beach chairs, beach umbrellas, a beach cart, a grill and a cooler. You actually have room in the SUV for the kids and grandma.
Inside this luxury unit is beautifully furnished with an island décor, comfortable beds and a fully equipped kitchen. We tried to create an inviting island haven while still maintaining functionality. So....sometimes we opted for room appeal over just adding extra bedding. Hopefully you can get a feel of this from our pictures and video.
As mentioned, our villa is on the lowermost level (one above the parking level) so there aren’t a lot of stairs to climb. The elevator (great for check-in) is always available but it seems the stairs get more daily use. There's an outside shower to hose down those sand covered creatures you had to drag off the beach. Plus you have full access to the storage room on the parking level (where the beach gear is).
To the beach is easy, we're one of the closer villas to the beach. The three minute walk (you can see the surf from the front porch) places you at a beautiful section of OIB that is currently undeveloped (see the video/picture of the beach). Also, a four minute walk has you at the beach club facilities, including a beautiful ocean front pool/Jacuzzi as well as the Tiki bar and restaurant. There also is beach access at the pool and you have full use of the parking facilities, if you want to drop kids/gear off.
In the evening, enjoy the lagoon view from the deck swing. There are some incredible sunsets at OIB, primarily, because it's more of an east/west beach. The lit fountain in the lagoon is relaxing to see/hear at night. During the day, the little ones enjoy watching the lagoon turtles sunning themselves.
Want to catch up on your golf or tennis? As you probably already know, there are a lot of premiere golf courses in the area. The tennis courts are on site, part of the Islander Resort.
As far as sleeping goes, the villa accommodates 8 in beds (King, King, Queen, 2 Singles) and one additional person in a rollaway.
A little more about the beach front pool, baby pool, Jucazzi, restaurant and Tiki bar. It's a large sized pool with lots of deck space and lounge chairs. It overlooks the surf so you can kinda get the best of both worlds from there. Plus, there's beach access on both sides of the pool. This area is only available to owners and guests (like you!) of the Islander resort. There is a big parking lot that you are free to use. So....it can be a great drop off point for kids and beach gear for both the pool and the beach.
Do you miss the hub-bub of Myrtle Beach? We don't particularly. But, if you do, it's just a 45 minute drive and you can have all the shopping, restaurants, traffic and attractions that you want. Speaking of restaurants, there are lots of good ones on and off the island. We will be glad to share our favorites with you (we've been going to OIB for the last twenty five years!).
Ocean Isle Beach is a great family beach. It is wonderful for long beach walks, beautiful sunsets, great ocean swimming and fishing and some great family memories.
It's all part of the Islander resort on the west end of Ocean Isle Beach!

Why the Owner Chose Ocean Isle Beach
When the Islander Resort was built, we decided to buy one of the new villas. We loved the floor plan of these condo's and had a great time decorating it. While functionality is always important at the beach, we actually focused more on eye appeal for the rooms. We picked an island theme, got a good deal on some Braxton Culler furniture and hit the flea markets and department stores.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo
For us the beach is a great place to relax. We love those long beach walks or just swinging on the back porch listening to the fountain in the lagoon. We don't play golf but there is a lot of great golfing in the area. Also, lots of opportunities for surf or pier fishing or boating in the Atlantic or intercostal waterway. You really have a lot of recreational and relaxation options.
The large beachfront pool is fantastic. Lots of lounge chairs and deck space. A large swimming area and hot tub. Beach access from either side of the pool. Not to mention the great restaurant.
Owner's Map of Ocean Isle Beach
Our family has been going to Ocean Isle Beach for over 25 years. This beach is almost entirely residential and the pace is quite a bit slower than Myrtle Beach. We love the ocean and find ourselves there several times a year. Ocean Isle is a great place for R&R during any season. The fall provides warm weather but no crowds. The winter has an allure all its own. It's a fun place to spend holidays. Spring brings warmer temperatures and, of course, those lazy summer beach days.

This spacious condo is as stunning as described. It is spotless, beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds and every need provided for our stay. And not only is it close to grocery stores, but also an easy, short walk to the beach. The fountain in the canal outside the porch added a lot to the ambience, as did the wonderful porch swing! Even though it was only one story up, an elevator right near the condo front door made getting settled easy! We look forward to returning another time!

Our family loved OIB! It was our first time and definitely not our last! We will be back, we loved it here. We played Putt-Putt and ate ice cream at Island Creamery. We loved the beach and the pool. We had a wonderful family vacation. Thank you, your place was perfect!

It was more than we expected and perfect for our family. Having beach chairs easily available as part of the rental was a bonus and made going to the beach even more enjoyable. Beautiful condo, very nicely decorated and very nice furniishings. It was very relaxing and had plenty of room for all of us (2 adults, 3 teens) in the family room, yet everyone had their own room to retreat to - really we couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. Have rented condos in the past and this exceeded our expectations and what we have experienced before, was very well maintained and was very competitively priced as well. Had all the amenities of home except the stress! We plan on coming back again - the location was perfect, close to Myrtle Beach and shopping, short walk to the beach, very spacious, and even had cable and internet for both staying connected to work and friends while vacationing. We have already recommended this place to our friends, the owners were very helpful in answering our questions and very prompt in getting back with us. The pictures didn't do it justice - the condo is much nicer than they truly can show. We cannot wait to go back and recommend it highly. Just don't rent it the week we want it!

This was a great getaway vacation for us and our friends. We enjoyed the sunrise and sunsets on the beach, playing botchy ball, and collecting shells on our long walks up and down the shoreline. Everything was convenient from the Condo. The pier, tennis courts, ice cream shop and of course the beautiful clubhouse with pool, hot tub and restaurant. The hardest part was packing up and leaving. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

We enjoyed this condo and found it to be everything as it was described. The owner was very responsive to all requests for information. The place was clean and well furnished. It is close to the beach and to the pool and restaurant. I would ask to stay there if I would return there in the future. I would also recommend to others how may be visiting this area.

This condo is awesome; it's spacious,clean, and beautifully decorated. It was so nice to not have to pack any beach gear either. Super convenient having the storage closet with everything you need already there. The owners are simply wonderful to work with. They responded to my inquiry almost immediately and continued to be readily available whether it was answering my questions or just suggesting restaurants for us. I would recommend this condo to anyone. Go - you will love it!

We loved our stay at Ocean Isle Beach. The condo was clean, beautifully furnished, and had lots of personality. It is a short walk to the beach and even though we had two grandchildren (age 1 and 3) it was easy to do with the beach type stroller provided. The owners are great to work with. We hope to stay again next year.

My family and I had a terrific week at OIB. It was our first visit to this beach. We have been to Myrtle many times, but with a family of young children I was looking for something a little less crowded and relaxing. We found it here. We have a large family and we were all able to fit in this large condo with room to spare. Every bedroom having a bathroom was so nice. The swing on the back deck was a favorite to all. The beaches weren't crowded and the pool had plenty of room to accomodate everyone. We also enjoyed the tennis courts. The small town had great places to eat. We did go into Myrtle for some other activities, and the drive there was not bad at all. Everyone we met at OIB were friendly and helpful. We felt like we were welcomed and part of the community. We hope to return soon!

We rented this condo for a wedding that was being held nearby on a weekend in October, and it was absolutely wonderful. The unit was extremely clean and exactly as described on this website. The owner was extremely accommodating to ensure that all of our needs were addressed, and I would be more than happy to return. In fact, a future summer week trip to OIB is being considered and this will be one of the first places we check for availability. I highly recommend it.
