Our family enjoyed a wonderful week in Holland at Taylor Cottage. The house is very clean and spacious and the owners could not have been sweeter! We went to several beaches in the area - all within a short drive from the house, and all offering something different (Laketown proved to be our favorite). Holland has so much to do we could not fit it all in - that means we'll see be back to Taylor Cottage next summer!

My family had a terrific week at this lovely cottage. It was all the description said it is. Very centrally located to downtown Holland, the excellent picturesque board walk, park and restaurant along Lake Macatawa. The cottage was clean, neat and easy to use, including a garage. Owners were very gracious and we enjoyed their pool, as well. The handy brochures, provided by the owners, were greatly appreciated for information on activities and sites to see in Holland. We felt like we were at a very nice resort with our own personal accomodations.

Enjoyed a beautiful July 4th weekend at this cottage! It's everything it says it is and more. Well-maintained, decorated beautifully and very spacious. Great location for walking along Lake Macatawa, Kollen Park, Big Red, Downtown & beaches. Enjoyed breakfast on the deck in the backyard and a wonderful sunset from the front deck. Hope to come back for a longer stay next time. The hosts couldn't have been more gracious.

Norma and Dean, thanks for opening your cottage to us for a very special occasion, my niece's wedding in August. The cottage was clean, quiet and cool (it was wicked hot outside that week). We had 5 adults and a toddler and it worked out perfectly. I would recommend the Taylor Cottage if asked. Lynne

Taylor Cottage was the perfect place for us to set up base camp for our one week vacation in Holland. It is in a great location overlooking Lake Macatawa, close to downtown Holland, and an easy drive to Holland State Park. Norma and Dean are wonderful, generous hosts who are willing and able to help make your stay as wonderful as possible. The cottage is wonderfully decorated and well-supplied. My family of 4 was very comfortable in our home-away-from-home for the week, and we look forward to coming back some time in the future.

We had a great time staying at Taylor Cottage! The house had everything we needed for a great stay: all linens, dishes, pots, utensils, lots of closet space, a nice washer & dryer, fire pit plus firewood, yard games, citronella candles, gas grill, even a Pack 'N Play & a high chair for our 1 year old. We brought fishing poles to fish with our daughter, but we even found those in the garage. There were lawn chairs and additional folding chairs in the garage too, in case you have a larger group. Needless to say, Norma & Dean had really thought of everything to make our stay hassle-free. We really appreciated all of the brochures and current information regarding activities & restaurants in Holland that were also provided in the cottage. We ate lots of yummy food, shopped in many of the adorable shops downtown, visited the beach, had our own little bon fire in the backyard, went to the local children's civic theater....the list goes on! We really loved seeing all of the street performers downtown on Thursday evening as well. One of the best parts of our stay was being invited to enjoy the inground pool at Norma & Dean's house, which was just around the block. It was beautiful and provided a quiet place for us to take our little ones without the worry of crowds. There were even pool toys and towels provided for us. Our daughter is still talking about "that nice lady Norma with the pool"! Thanks so much for a wonderful stay. We truly appreciated the kindness and hospitality of our hosts.

Thanks, Mr. and Mrs. Van De Brake; It was a real pleasure to stay at Taylor Cottage and the great city of Holland. The cottage was very neat and comfortable, the games in the basement were very fun to play. We enjoyed walking the Boardwalk and watching the sunset at Kollen Park; which is a great gift the city of Holland has given to it's citizens and tourists. It was a lovely vacation for the Binaj Family at Taylor Cottage!

I stayed at Taylor Cottage from September 2008 until March 2009. The cottage was very nice, and I really enjoyed my stay. Dean and Norma were the best landlords that I have ever had. No matter what little things that would happen, they were always available to help me and my two roommates, and they usually came and helped us on the very same day. I would definitely recommend Taylor Cottage. You will love your stay, and you will love Dean and Norma.

What a wonderful cottage! It was perfect for our family of 5 as we vacationed in West Michigan to visit family. The kids loved the foosball table in the basement and the location near Lake Macatawa was perfect for taking an early morning walk before getting started for the day. Plus, the central air was very welcomed for comfortable sleeping during the humid summer nights. Norma & Dean's hospitality is incredible as well.

Great location and a comfortable, CLEAN cottage. Close to beaches, golf courses, shopping and restaurants. Abundant linens, well-stocked kitchen, and extras here and there that made our stay feel special and homey. Our boys loved the foozball table! Thanks again, Norma, for all the local tips that kept us active and well-fed. You should work for the Holland Convention & Visitors Bureau on 8th St.

We loved our visit to Holland, Michigan, the cottage was so comfortable, everything you need, and things that you didn't know you needed. We loved all the information about the area, we explored the town and near by communities. We even loved the nearby pickle factory, we seen large shipments of cucumbers come in. The Holland State Park Beach is beautiful. Lots of fun places to eat and shop. Wished I would have bought the Lake Michigan, unsalted, tee shirt, maybe next time. Would recommend to any family, the beds were comfortable, bedding great, lots of pillows. Loved the black squirrels, could not manage to get a photo.

What a lovely family oriented home! We watched the lake and freighters each morning. Norma has thought of every detail-indoor & outdoor games, baby pool,High chair & booster, more than ample linens, towels, dishes & table service (no need to do dishes after every meal). A complete shelf of maps, brochures, and local coupons, 1 block to wireless wi-fi coffee shop, local family restaurants, 1 mile to full service grocery, 3 blocks to Kollen park with waterfront walk, playground, boat launch,& bandshell, all make life here easy. Large bedrooms, comfortable beds,& much closet & storage space in private garage simplified activities. Imagine our surprise to find a full light-filled basement with fooseball, and double pullout sofa in the additional sitting area! This home and all that nearby Lake Michigan, and Holland have to offer made our vacation with 4 Adults and 4 children a superior sucess. We will be back!
