Come enjoy our beautiful professionally decorated poolside condominium -- awarded a Prestige Property award -- at Summer Beach Resort. We are in a gated complex conveniently located near the Ritz Carlton of Amelia Island, the Golf Club of Amelia Island and Summer Beach Resort Beach Club.
Extensive and complete renovations make this your ideal beach escape as we have only top quality furnishings and bright cheerful colors throughout. The bedrooms have beautiful bamboo flooring, and the remainder of the condo has tile. The Master bedroom has a king size bed, walk-in closet and full bath with tub/shower. The second bedroom has two twin beds and an adjoining bath with a very large tile shower. The couch is extremely comfortable just in case you need an extra sleeping space, and there are also two twin air mattresses. The bright kitchen opens directly to the living areas. If you need to work, a desk with computer hookup is in the main living area.
Walk out the back door to the beautiful pool canopied by awesome oak trees; or walk just a few steps to the awesome expanse of Amelia Island's pristine beaches. The shore is within a one-minute walk of our home!
Available on or just off the island are several world class golf courses (designs by Arnold Palmer, Mark McCumber, Davis Love), great shops, unique daily excursions and even more exciting dining options. We will be more than happy to make recommendations.
It is great to visit in spring for the the Concourse d'Elegance or the annual Shrimp Festival. Summertime brings typical Florida summer beach weather with bright beautiful days to get out and enjoy sunning, searching for shells, kayaking or horseback rides on the beach. Fall/Winter offer beautiful weather in North Florida and it is an excellent time to enjoy all that the region has to offer without the crowds, traffic or waiting times that come with summer.

Why the Owner Chose Amelia City
My husband and I won a vacation to Amelia Island during an auction at our daughter's high school. When we visited Amelia later that year, we both fell in love with it. It is beautiful, relaxing, and easy to navigate. The downtown area is very quaint and great for shopping and eating. When we started searching for a home, we honed in on location location location. Our condo is steps away from beach, pool, and walk/running paths. The Summer Beach area of the island has it all.

My husband and I live in Prospect, Kentucky (a suburb of Louisville). We have three grown children. My husband is still practicing law full time, and I am a retired attorney. We love traveling and have traveled extensively through the years. As we traveled, we always talked about where we would like to retire someday. We found it!

My husband and I, as well as various visiting family members, loved staying at this condo. It is beautifully decorated, well-equipped and very comfortable. The location is great..convenient to everything on Amelia Island but quiet and "away from it all". Upon arrival we settled right in and soon regarded it as our (don't we wish!) home away from home. We loved the patio, the pool, the miles of beautiful beaches, the ever-present sound of the surf. We loved it ALL! We are doubling our time in 2012, and are already looking forward to returning. Our children and grandchildren cheered when they heard this news! I will say that sleeping six is very tight. Flexibility and good humor are key. Four is very comfortable, however. From the very beginning, the owner was great to work with, always available to answer our questions and supplying us with great "tips" on fun things to do and places to go. At times we felt as though we had our own personal tour director. We recommend this property with enthusiasm and without reservation.
Recommended for:Age 55+, families with young children.

This is a beautiful condo in a lovely complex. The condo has every convenience and is in a great location for the pool. Would definitely rent it again. If you have not been to Fernandina Beach it is something to experience.......the beach is beautiful and couldn't have enjoyed our stay more. Can't wait to return, and will certainly try to rent this same condo.

Great condo in a great location. The condo was just as the pictures showed and had everything we needed for our week's vacation. We appreciated being able to take our dog and enjoyed having her on the beach with us. The condo was immaculate and so were the grounds of the complex. The walking/biking trail throughout the south end of the island was tree covered, which made a wonderful place to either ride our bikes or walk our dog. The owner was easy to work with and was readily available through e-mail to answer any questions we had prior to renting. We received our deposit back in a timely manner also. Yes we would definitely recommend this property and come back ourselves. Amelia Island/Fernandina Beach is a wonderful part of Florida!

I just returned from a week long vacation to Amelia Island with my daughter and my sister. We couldn't have chosen a better place! The condo was close and convenient to everything! The beach was a very short walk and it was so peaceful and relaxing. It was also nice having a pool right outside our back door. We really enjoyed our stay and will definately return!!
