Perfect peaceful retreat!

My daughter and I enjoyed our stay here so much! Debbie provided a clean, comfortable and peaceful place to come to after a day of activities on North Shore. We LOVED having the dog visit and the outdoor shower. Be sure and look up North Shore Surf Girls for super fun surf lessons. Also get the package with a truck lunch, shave ice and turtles with Vi. She is adorable. We liked all the breakfast places in town, especially The Breakers. Shops are cute at the Maketplace, take a break for coffee at the Coffee Gallery and lunch at the Grass Skirt Grill, go kayaking and snorkling, get you hair done or feathers at Atlantis. Or you can just enjoy sitting in the yard at the house or on the beach at 3 Tables.

A home away from home

What can I say? This place is a HOME. A beautiful, amazing, and thoughtfully planned out home away from home. The pictures on this site do NOT do it justice. It has been updated extensively since the pictures were taken! My two daughters loved having their own room (they dubbed it the "peacock palace"). The beds were super comfortable. The decorations were beautiful and homey-- and the books tucked everywhere was a great touch! My daughters LOVED Choca and there is no better behaved dog to be found. We did not have the pleasure to meet Debbie, but Derek was a great host-- we didn't seem to ever see him unless we needed something! Debbie and Derek have thought of EVERYTHING. From shampoos to sunblock, to boogie boards, to games for the kids... you name it, it is there. We were so sad to say farewell. You cannot go wrong with this home.

We stayed 5 nights at this property and enjoyed every minute! Beautiful accomodations- wonderful outdorr shower, friendly dog, and wonderful location- close to some amazing beaches and snorkeling. Owners are warm and friendly, but also give you privacy. Perfect combination!. I highly recommend this place- you will not be disappointed. Hope to come back some day.

Debbie and Derek - We enjoyed our stay at your home and were very pleasantly suprised at how "kid friendly" everything was. Our girls had so much fun playing with Chaka everyday and I think that might have been the highlight of their trip. Everything was perfect and if I could take one thing home with me, it would of course be your outdoor shower!!! Thanks again for making a trip back home so comfortable and welcoming. Truely a home away from home

I want to add to all of the positive reviews here and say that it is true that words cannot describe the kindness of the owners, and how at home you feel from the minute you arrive at this wonderful home. For those considering renting, I'll describe it for you. Location: It is perfectly located on the North Shore. It is literally 2 minutes walking to the beach, 4 minutes walking to the grocery store, Starbucks, and a well known food truck. If you have a rental car, it's 5 minutes to a beach where every morning there are huge sea turtles. It's about 3 minutes to Wiamea Bay and Nature Preserve, 5 minutes to Ted's Bakery, 20 Minutes to Dole Plantation and 15 minutes to lots of restaurants and shops in Hale'iwa. Also the was AC that works great. In other words it's close to everything North Shore, but the most important thing is once at the home you feel miles away from stress and truly relaxed. The Home: Besides the perfect location, the home is decorated nicely and feels like home. The kitchen is wonderful and cuts your food bills to cheap (also the grill is great right outside in a private area). The bedrooms are large and the beds are very comfortable, quiet and nice. The living room is large (as is the space you get) and the couch is so comfortable you may be tempted to nap. The outside shower and outside living space are so nice that we ate outside a few times and it is peaceful. The Bathroom is wonderful also and we loved the size of the bathtub and it is nicely tiled. The amenities are too much to list, but I will list several important ones. The owners have generously supplied snorkeling gear (we used it all week and saved a lot on rentals). They have all types of Games for inside, some tanning lotions and cremes, beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrella's for the beach, several coolers and drink carriers, all the plates and glasses, cookware and silverware you need. Hand lotions, great soaps and shampoos, beach towels, a card for discounts at the grocery store, baby supplies, the grill, washer and dryer, wireless internet, cable...etc.etc.etc. So many nice well thought of things and I am sure I am forgetting some. A wonderful time and am already trying to plan the next trip back. The owners are so nice if they ever come to Orlando I would feel comfortable having them in my home, truly great people (and 1 loveable dog). Thanks for a wonderful trip and memories.

We found this adorable house online and as soon as we arrived we knew the pictures did not do this place justice! Everything is so welcoming and Choca made every moment here even more enjoyable Our family went right across the street to three tables beach and snorkeled just about everyday.There are so many beautiful things to see! One of our favorite sights was Waimea Falls and for breakfast it was straight to Ted's Bakery for the BEST donuts! Debbie and Derek you guys are the nicest people and thank you for letting us play with your wonderful dog for hours! Thanks so much for this wonderful experience we will never forget! You will get business from us again and soon.

This is absolutely heaven on Earth! All of the special touches make this a cozy perfect vacation home!!! The decor furnishings beds floors etc. were all fabulous The beaches were amazing. Our family truly enjoyed their stay here. We loved Sharks Grill enjoyed the outside shower. Also, sheets were so comfy Great location to do so many cool things.
