Located on the first floor (with elevator) of a classic 1930’s building, the apartment faces south with large windows and lots of morning sunshine. The Chelsea location couldn’t be a more perfect base for your London trip; a 10-minute walk to the Sloane Square Tube and a five-minute walk to all of the many red double-decker buses on King’s Road; six blocks from a restaurants, shops, cafes, pubs, and brasseries lining King’s Road. Gordon Ramsay’s three-starred restaurant is literally across the street!
It is right across from the famous and ancient Chelsea Physic Gardens. The Physic Gardens are a hidden gem in the center of London, founded in 1673 by the Worshipful Society of Apothecaries and is a beautiful and educational garden.
Take the elevator to the first floor: a long hallway leads to all of the rooms. First is the master bedroom, a beautiful large room with large window and sunlight. There is an extra-wide queen-sized bed, desk and pretty fabrics. A row of built-in closets offers excellent storage. Next on the right is the living room with new, cream colored wall-to-wall carpeting and large windows. The patterned blue drapes contrast with the yellow sofa. Two comfortable armchairs and floor lamps face the sofa and there is a good selection of books, plus TV with all of the English channels. There is free high speed internet. Across the corridor opposite the living room is the kitchen. The first thing you’re likely to notice is the unique privacy glass in both the exit door and windows on the far wall, adding light from the outside back stairwell, where the rubbish bin is located. You’ll also find a four-burner stove, an under-the-counter refrigerator, oven, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, clothes washer and drying rack, and all of the pots and pans, utensils, and dishes you’ll need to prepare full meals in the comfort of your home away from home.
Opposite the master bedroom of the Cheyne London vacation apartment rental, is the bathroom. It features a bathtub/shower combination, toilet, and vanity with sink and large mirror. We supply plush white towels to wrap yourself in after taking a long hot soak in the tub.
At the end of the corridor is the small second bedroom with two single beds and a closet. One bed is along the wall when you enter and the second is perpendicular to it in front of the window. This is a compact room, but very practical and pretty. The pale wall paper matches the yellow checked bedding and beautiful antique prints grace the walls. A window overlooks the quiet back of the building.
