It is about a 150 yard walk to one of the most pristine beaches in Florida. Our home has beautiful gulf and bay views from decks that wrap two sides of the house. Cape San Blas was voted # 1 beach in the US in 2002. The quiet and peaceful ambiance you will find here is truly a great escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Take a walk on the pristine white sands of the beach, swim in the crystal clear waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Enjoy a day of golf at nearby courses, deep sea fishing or fishing in the St. Joseph Bay, one of the most beautiful, pristine bays on the Gulf Coast. Rent a kayak, ride your bike, go horseback riding on the beach, collect shells, or enjoy bird watching. The house is located only minutes away from the beautiful St. Joseph State Park, where wildlife abounds including bald eagles, golden eagles, sea turtles, black bears, black panthers (very rare), and yes, even alligators can occasionally be seen in the marshes. For your dining pleasure, the finest and freshest seafood awaits you, including the world famous Apalachicola Bay oysters! Our home has three floors with 2000 square feet of covered outside decks. The top level deck has white wicker furnishings, a hammock for the ultimate relaxation, and a stainless gas grill for your outdoor cooking needs. The large great room and gourmet kitchen, ½ bath and laundry room are also on this level. The views are spectacular with sunrises over the bay and sunsets over the gulf. The kitchen has solid surface counter tops, all stainless steel Whirlpool Gold appliances including a side by side refrigerator, double oven and a 36 inch, five-burner glass cook top, microwave and dishwasher. On the second level you will find three bedrooms, all with their own separate entrances to the second level deck. The first of two master bedrooms is on this level and it has a king sized bed, private bath with oversized shower and a garden tub. The remaining two bedrooms have queen sized beds and share a large bath. The ground level has the second of two master bedrooms. This bedroom has a king sized bed and its own private bath with an outside entrance to the ground level deck. The ground level deck has an oversized hammock and a wonderful porch swing to enjoy after your swim in the in ground SWIMMING POOL. (Pool is not heated) Our home has an ELEVATOR for your convenience. We are PET FRIENDLY; our yard has been professionally landscaped and is completely fenced for privacy and for the safety of your pet. Each bedroom has its own TV with remote and DVD player. What to bring: Beach toys, beach chairs, coolers, extra towels, beach towels, groceries, paper products. An initial supply of toilet tissue & soap is provided.
