  A bit LARGE for just me and the girlfriend but, what a great house. And pool! The listing description could not have been more accurate. Actually, the listing description is modest! The listing photos don't do the house justice. You can't see the grand TV room with entertaining bar! Or the poolside tiki hut which is suitable for...GOOD TIMES! Owners were as gracious as could be. And, I would recommend this property to friends and relatives and probably people that I don't even like, it's that nice. Lake is a block away. New Buffalo is a few miles east. Good pizza (Stop 50) is right around the corner.

  I loved our stay at this house. I can't believe such a beautiful rustic home is located so near Chicago. Everything is top notch. We explored the beach that is a short walk from the home and explored nature on the hiking paths. It was difficult choosing between entertaining in the home and enjoying the outdoors. Both were awesome. Blue Chip Casino is so close, so we spent Saturday night there. We will go back again!

  My husband and I have stayed several times and would go back in a heartbeat! Large pool and outdoor space that's great for adults and kids. The home is very special and very well cared for. Beds were comfortable for even my husband who can typically prefer the couch. Very close to the beach and nice walking paths. The owners were terrific and easy to work with--absolutely no issues. Stay here!

  I'm sure I'm just like you and want to stay in a place that's nice and clean and cool to boot. And Just like you have been burned once or twice. Well not this time. Don't let too much time go by as this property will rent out quickly and you will miss out on the best rental I have ever had....and I've been renting in the area for years. Heck I'm practically an authority on Michiana rentals! This house is really neat. It's perfect Michiana log style but updated and fun. New pool (with attached bar), new addition with great room for family get-togethers, close to beach, roomy, great screened in porch, well maintained. It's all here. Only problem is I heard that the owners may not rent it out anymore, so get in while you can, you wont be disappointed!

  I loved the house. The pool is awesome, I felt very at home, yet out of the hustle and bustle of Chicago. It's close but yet so far!!! It's easy to get to in that its only 1 1/2 hours from downtown Chicago, but the winding streets in the area are a little confusing at first. In the long run that didn't matter when I could walk to the beach and relax with a book. Lots of great restaurants in nearby New Buffalo.You could even go gambling if you wanted just 10 minutes away! (I Didn't though). I would definitely rebook next year.

  Spent a week with family and friends. Way cool house, very authentic but updated beutifully. So much to see and do in the area, yet just as fun to come back to the house and relax by the pool. Didn't want to leave. Can;t wait to do it again next year.

  My family rented this home last summer and can't wait to go back this summer! We were so excited to find it on the rental market after seeing an article about it in a magazine. We just love the log home style cottages. The kids loved the swimming pool just as much as the beach! There is a big yard with plenty of room for playing. The screen porch was fantastic. The 4th bedroom located off the master loft style bedroom was very convenient for our little ones. Wait till you see the great room! It was the perfect place for the family to gather together.

  House is not a four bedroom. Owners not helpful and pictures do not accurately protray house. Cannot recommend this house. If you are interested in renting this house, please be sure to inspect the interior of the house.
