We took our 3 boys here for a winter get away. They could walk out the door and sled. As a family we snow shoe and cross country skied. Easy drive into town when we wanted to get out or to Hesperus Hill or Durango Mountain Resort for more mountain skiing. With the 3 levels everyone had their own space but the main floor offered us a large room for football watching and playing games when we were in for the night. Would definitely recommend to any family! Plan to go back for a summer trip!!

This house has it ALL: the best views in the county, and the privacy we wanted to make the best vacation ever. The house is very well appointed, new furniture, new mattresses, and everything you'd expect for a wonderful stay. Even the kitchen has a stocked spice cupboard and misc. canned items for use. Wake up and go for nature hikes in the backyard and see the wildlife. Drink wine and listen to the hummingbirds whrrr by on the deck. We will come back again and again, and always request this house. First class.
