We have a spacious, hand-crafted, charming hacienda on three pastoral acres of family land. The Don Fernando River and its lush bosque (woodland) meanders around the property, which includes five beautifully planted gardens featuring native plants, vegetables, herbs, and brilliant flowers.
There are spectacular views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, which creates an artistic backdrop for our beautiful land. The 360-degree view of the mountains, Taos Valley, and even as far south as the Jemez Mountains in the distance, is not to be missed. Wildlife is abundant on our land as the bosque and river act as a bird sanctuary. Horses, cows, and sheep graze on surrounding farmland.
Casa Rosa - is a charming, one-bedroom, one-bathroom cottage with over 900 spacious square feet, including the attached private courtyard with kiva fireplace and grill for your privacy and outdoor pleasure. It is decorated in southwestern tones, softly plastered walls, custom-made arches and doors, and Spanish tile. This casita has a full kitchen opening to the living area. We lovingly furnished the casita for comfort and aesthetics with works by local artisans. There is a futon for extra guests. Sleeps two to four.
Casa del Rio - is a large studio room, partitioned to separate sleeping and living quarters. The grand view of the mountains and Don Fernando River and its bosque makes this casita special for you. It is tastefully decorated with rich Taos Autumn colors, southwest touches, custom furniture and art, and with all amenities for your comfortable stay, including a fully-equipped kitchenette. The casita has a queen-size bed as well as a futon. A private patio with grill invites you outdoors to a pastoral view. Sleeps two.
We offer seclusion, yet convenience to all of the area's treasures. We are five minutes from historic Taos Plaza and close to shops, galleries, museums, and restaurants. There is also easy access to Taos Ski Valley, river rafting, and myriad other outdoor recreational activities. We love our pets: Emily, our cat, and Chica, Mandy, Adobe, and Pancho, our dogs; so your pets are welcome too! |
