The cabin was super clean and well appointed. I've stayed in many vacation cabins/condo/and homes and this was no less than 5 star in every aspect! The owner was great...easy booking and great communication. VP Nashville , TN

Awesome secluded property that had absolutely everything!! My kids loved the den, the fireplace and especially the groundhog that lived out back!! The owner has taken such care to think of everything you may need and want and they have gone above and beyond to make the place feel like home. They have books, games, blankets and movies galore!!! She even also recommended a quaint little restaurant nearby that we enjoyed.

We had a great time at the red roof cabin for Spring break. Our 7 grandchildren and 7 adults thoroughty enjoyed our weekend. Even though the weather was uncertain, we were able to have an outdoor Easter egg hunt, hike to the water falls and overlook and a campfire. We managed to enjoy every area of the house especially the game room downstairs. I must say though that a log house is not a place for quiet with so many little ones running around on all the hardwood floors! Thanks again for providing such a great property at a great price !

This cabin was absolutely wonderful in so many ways! It was beautiful, roomy, clean, and just perfect for a getaway with some of your family and friends. The owner was very easy to contact and deal with. This cabin has everything that you could possibly ever need on your vacation. It has very nice pots, pans, dishes, and even spices to cook with. The shampoo, conditioner, and shower gel dispensers in the showers are a really nice perk too. I am a pretty picky person when it comes to cleanliness, but this cabin was very clean and well-maintained. We would not even hesitate staying here again, and really hope to sometime in the future.

We had a wonderful time at our "A Fall Creek Falls Cabin Christmas" for the third year in a row and plan to return this Christmas - but I did have some concerns. First, there had apparently been either a dog or cat (we all decided it was a cat) in the cabin from clients prior to our arrival. The master bedroom and bath had a significant amount of animal hair all about those two rooms. There was a rather large box full of empty whiskey & wine bottles that were left on the porch and the trash had not been taken out. We chose to put our Christmas tree up in the basement on the white table with glass top (that was hold a Monopoly game) and it had what we decided was liquor spilled literally all over it. It was so sticky and gross! Unbelievable! The T.V. in the basement has not been dusted (it's actually "dirt" at this point) in a long time as well. The air hockey table had long black hairs on it and the ledge around the entire table was sticky and dirty as well. We absolutely LOVE you cabin Terry and as I said before - we will definitely be back but I am guessing that you "pay" someone to clean and I wanted you to know these things. Thanks for listening.

We obtained this cabin for our Christmas trip to visit my Husband's family in Bledsoe County. Although I was wrong about exactly where I thought this cabin was located, it was so worth the small distance from family. We absolutely loved the location and we adored this cabin. I am definitely considering another stay at this most charming and relaxing location. Highly recommend this cabin to anyone, the downstairs game room is especially great to help keep kids amused!

The house was so beautiful inside and out. We had a great time. Lots of birds and wildlife even in December. Take foil and plastic wrap because the house has none in stock.

The Cabin was wonderful! We so enjoyed to view out the windows. The trees were just like a painting! The children enjoyed the games in the basement. We drove two days into Chattanooga and even though the drive was about an hour it was so beautiful it didn't feel that long. We also went to the Fall State Park and walked the trails. We had a wonderful time! Thanks for opening up your home.

We just got back from spending 4 days at Red Roof Cabin with Grandparents down to the Grandkids, ages 4, 8 and 22. We all had a fabulous time and will definitely stay here again when going to Fall Creek Falls. We had one day that was fogged in but everyone had a lot to entertain ourselves with board games and ping-pong, and pool table. The wrap around porch is wonderful to sit out on. It would have been nice to have access to washer and dryer but I knew going in that short visits didn't have access to them so on one trip in to Fall Creek Falls we had to wash an emergency load for the 4 year old. But I would not let that stop me from another trip. We can't wait to make another family trip to this beautiful cabin.

Such a relaxing and comfortable place! We especially loved the observation deck, the wrap around porch, with places to sit and take in the beautiful view! The kitchen had most things that we needed and built to enjoy with a group of people. We enjoyed the fireplace on the main level the entire 2 days. It was so cozy and provided great atmosphere for our meal preparation and dining. The game room gave us a place to enjoy recreation with my son and his friend as well as the amazing library of movies! We could have stayed at the cabin for 2 days with plenty of thing to occupy our time. My sister and I spent time in the upstairs den watching "chic flicks", while my husband and brother in law and kids hung out in the basement playing pool and ping pong and air hockey! The owner accomodated us on very short notice, with no glitches at all. She has provided a great place, and has thought of everything! And, yes, we will recommend to friends and family, and also will make it a regular vacation spot for our family.

About the owner: I am a private pilot and could choose to have my vacation home anywhere; but I chose Spencer, TN. Why? Friendly folks, natural beauty, peaceful living. That's what I want in a vacation. You are close enough to Knoxville, Chattanooga or Nashville to go enjoy the Grand Ole Opre for an evening then come back out of civilization to the tranquility of the cabin.

Why the Owner Chose Fall Creek Falls:
There are 10 State Recreational Parks in the Cumberland Plateau area; miles of waterways and some of the friendliest people you will ever meet. Fall Creek Falls is amazing but do not overlook the other attractions in the area: Burgess Falls, Rock Island Falls, Cumberland Caves, Edgar Evans State Park, the Centerhill Lake area and the red roof cabin at Mountain Crest! While the area is beautiful - the red roof cabin at Mountain Crest IS your vacation destination. There is everything you could possibly need for a long term or a short terms stay. No worries if it rains: with over 400 movies, games, satellite TV and internet, there is no need to go anywhere else.

The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
My favorite things to do at Mountain Crest: 1. Sit by the fire 2. Sleep by the fire 3. Work by the fire (do you see a theme here?) 4. Play games in the game room 5. Sit on the porch swing and watch the day go by
