My partner and I have been to PV many times but have never stayed at El Dorado. We have found our new favorite! The condo is beautiful with an amazing front row seat to the best sunset in the world. Very affordable for the location and amenities...can't be beat!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

402 is a superb hideaway where I was comforted with the vistas, cleanliness staff and friendly security of El Dorado Condominiums. The pictures are perfect, the bedroom ceiling fan with a wee bit of AC very adequate for September sleeping comfort, the living room banco and ceiling fan perfect for my daily siesta. I had the pool to myself each day, and gave a long day's business to a different beach-front restaurant/bar each day. Massages across the street were excellent, and as all Los Muertos devotees know, the location overall cannot be beat. Late summer storms are worth their weight in gold! Thank you, David!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

I have lived in Puerto Vallarta, and stayed many different places but never one with such a great location! I was delighted when my fiancee and I walked in and saw this place. We stayed for close to 3 weeks and now when going back to PV to visit (until we move there permanently) I can't even think of staying in another location. We spent mornings sitting on the balcony watching the rays swim in the surf and reading and afternoons walking around downtown. I would recommend El Dorado to everyone!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Thanks for sharing your amazing condo with us. We stayed a week from March 24 until March 31, 2012 on our spring break. The condo was perfect for the two of us. It was in the perfect location for walking everywhere we wanted to go. We only had to take a taxi to and from the airport. We had a wonderful, relaxing holiday. We absolutely loved having our tea in front of the patio doors in the morning listening to and watching the waves. The mexican pottery dishes are a very nice touch. We felt completely safe in and out of the condo our entire trip. Gracious. We would definitely recommend this condo to friends wanting to visit Puerto Vallarta.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

Just returned from a wonderfuil two week stay in this condo in the old town section of Puerto Vallarta. A beautiful view of the bay, including sunsets, dolphins swimming by and only steps from the beach or a few blocks to a wide variety of coffee shops, restaurants and shopping. Very secure, very friendly staff and a very clean building. The owner was very nice to do business with and provides excellent service.Owner response: This client was exceptional. They repaired the kitchen sink drain during their stay, a first in ten years of renting this condo. I appreciate the positive review, and give them a 5 star review as clients. Thanks again.

Even though we were only in PV for a couple of days, we had a wonderful stay and everything was as good or better than the pictures. You can't beat wonderful breakfasts, lunches and suppers on the beach right next to the condo, watching the dolphins swim by, strolls to the old town market and the incredible sunsets from the balcony. The owner provided excellent background information on shopping, restaurants and night life. Would definitely stay here again.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway.

My husband and I have stayed here 3 times. These are truely the best vacations I have had. Good location, good food and drinks right on the beach, great sunsets. Great secure place and people who work there cannot do enough for you. We have met great people from different cities and great people who live and work there. This is the place to stay. No car. Just walk!!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.

I'm a single woman who travels alone, I've been going to PV annually since 1978 and since retirement I now go twice a year. I've stayed in many places over the years but as of the last 3 years, this condo has become my favorite. The location is perfect, everything I need is in walking distance with some of the best restaurants really close by and I feel totally safe walking around the neighborhood. The building is well maintained, the staff is always helpful and the condo is very well kept and decorated in a way that feels both modern and mexican. It's in the middle of a very busy beach with lots of activity to watch and participate in if you wish, but the unit itself is mostly quiet and peaceful with an awesome view. The owner, David, makes the rental process extremely pleasant and efficient and he's just a nice guy.Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

My spouse and I have stayed here multiple times and have loved it. Great location near shopping and restaurants. Choice of swimming in the ocean or complex's beautiful pool. We love watching the sunsets over the sea as lines of pelicans fly by in formation.Recommended for: Tourists without a car.

About the owner: This is a photo of me in the courtyard of Posada Roger during my first visit to Puerto Vallarta in 1976. On a whim, I purchased this condo on the last day of my vacation in November, 1999. I remodeled the condo in a modern but multi-cultural style with mostly Mexican finishes and materials. I usually visit 3 or 4 times a year, and enjoy my home on the most beautiful beach in Puerto Vallarta.
Why the Owner Chose Romantic Zone:
This is a great location right above Los Muertos Beach, centrally located to the nightlife, restaurants, and beach live that most people associate with Puerto Vallarta. Also, it is a sentimental favorite, because I used to hang out at the old El Dorado Restaurant when I first started visited Vallarta 1976. The town has changed a lot in the 35 years since my first visit, but I never get tired of the beaches, the sunsets, the people, and the wonderful climate. Welcome to my home in paradise.
