Perfect Vacation Spot All Seasons

I cannot begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at this beautifully appointed cabin. It was so cozy and comfortable. The furnishing were amazing and the rooms were perfect for our 12 and 14 year old. The cabin is beautifully decorated and included everything that we needed for our stay. As we drove up, the cabin was buried in snow after a record snowfall. The walkway was completely shoveled and the jacuzzi completely cleared for our use. This was no easy task and is a testimony on how much the owners care about their visitors. The cabin is centrally located to all the ski resorts. I would not miss this little gem if you have an opportunity. Every season would be perfect in this amazing cabin!

A week wasn't long enough!

I spent many hours searching the internet for a house to rent for my husband and I to enjoy quality time with our 18 year old daughter and 15 year old son - and I found it! Camp Cedar Crest is a beautiful and spacious cabin, in a superb location a short drive from Tahoe City. The owners have put much thought into their holiday home and so it was an absolute delight to be able to stay there. We loved being able to eat breakfast on the deck and watch chipmunks, squirrels and jays - and after a hard day of hiking or falling off mountain bikes we could all relax in the hot tub - bliss! The house is well-maintained and immaculate and the photographs don't really do the house justice! Many thanks to Russ, who made everything so much easier with all his helpful and timely emails. It's a long way from Scotland but we would love to come again! Jacqui & Ian, Edinburgh, Scotland

This is a wonderful home that was previously owned by good friends of ours. The renovation is wonderful - very tasteful and reminiscent of "old Tahoe." A very comfortable home. The landscaping is beautiful and it is a delight to sit out and enjoy the property.

We rented Camp Cedar Crest in August of 2007 and had such a wonderful time we returned in June/July of 2008. This property has everything we could possibly need. The interiors bring us back to the old time charm of Tahoe that we relish. The deck and fire pit addition allowed for many evenings sharing great conversation while enjoying the beauty of Tahoe. We always feel at home here and plan on returning in 2009!

My family stayed at Camp Cedar Crest for the Christmas holiday 2006. We wanted a homey cabin with alot of character and this certainly fit the bill! Wonderful ambience, yet all the modern amenities, we would certainly return again.

Our family stayed at Camp Cedar Crest during the summer of '06 and enjoyed the amazing cabin complete with an ambiance that takes you to a very special place. As great as the cabin is the surrounding area and access to the private beach with docks and lawn take the Tahoe experience to a new level. I recommend this rental and cannot wait to return to the cabin in '07 and take my annual dip in the lake off the end of the pier. Peg Davenport
