Our spacious well-appointed 4 bedroom home will make your vacation dreams come true. It is located on 1.5 acres in a private community at the top of the hills west of Sonoma, and sits 1300 feet above the valley floor. It is surrounded by mature Oak and Bay trees giving you beautiful wooded views from every window. There are sweeping views of not only the hills but the south end of the Sonoma valley, the Carneros wine region and the north end of the San Francisco bay waters. Our hills are bustling with deer, wild turkeys, squirrels and many, many species of birds.

Our guests say that our house feels like a "5 star" hotel: that’s exactly what we’d hoped. As you enter the front doors you are greeted with the warmth and welcoming feel of this home.

There are neighbors but with the beautiful mature vegetation you can’t see other houses. You will feel like you’re in a world of your own. We are 5 miles from Sonoma’s central square where there are world class restaurants and great shopping. The drive will take you 12 minutes. We are also in the heart of outstanding wineries: Many are less than 30 minutes of our front door.

Our kitchen has always been a favorite gathering spot. Lots of counter space, a great expanse of windows, a fireplace and our “pub” table all provide the perfect atmosphere. Our spacious dining room lends itself to romantic dinners or upbeat gatherings.

The living room and sunroom overlook our large deck and the expansive views of the valley and distant mountain ranges. The morning sunrise is spectacular. If you prefer to sleep late, just grab a robe and enjoy the valley views with your first cup of coffee.

The Sonoma valley is known as the Valley of the Moon. There is nothing more breathtaking than the big orange moon rising over the hills and flooding our deck with its glow. You’ll have a bird’s eye view.

Each bedroom has a personality of its own. Every bed has a down feather comforter to give you warmth without the weight and down feather pillows that will perfectly adjust to your preferences. All bedrooms have additional seating that will give you comfortable places to get-away from the group if you need a quiet time to talk or read.

The wine country is a destination in itself: add to that this really terrific house and you have the perfect combination.

  • Karen, I can't tell you how much we enjoyed your beautiful home! The neighborhood is so lovely and quiet. (I enjoyed some early morning walks with the deer.)The decor in the home is beautiful and I can not think of a single thing you are missing! Absolutely fabulous! I could spend a week just hanging out at the house reading books, drinking wine on the patio, soaking in the hot-tub....etc. Unfortunately (or fortunately) there's just SO MUCH to do and see around Sonoma and Napa; we didn't have NEAR enough time to just relax at the house! We will definitely have to come back!! Thank you again for a vacation we will always remember in such a beautiful setting.

  • A wonderful, relaxing home with great views and scenery. Deer came upto the edge of the deck in the mornings. Very well maintained and "equiped"- even down to the coffee! There were eight of us staying and at no time did we ever feel crowded or on top of one another. We would definitely recommend this home and stay here again.

  • what a wonderful place to stay. eight of us golf ladies stayed in july, we loved that we could cook and enjoy the house after playing golf all day. the deck was heavenly to sit out and enjoy the view. everything you needed was there to use. it is a ways out so you do need to plan for that, but worth it. we also had visits fron fox and deer. very clean.

  • Stayed at this wonderful house with a group of old school friends. We all loved the house and it was a great place to hang out and catch up. The jacuzzi was put to good use, and we enjoyed being able to cook and eat together in the great kitchen and dining room! We even had a fox come for a visit one morning. Overall a great getaway.

  • We absolutely loved this home! The pictures do not do it justice. Beautiful view, fabulous interior, and very spacious! Three couples and all had their own bedroom and bathroom. Not often do you find those amenities in rental homes. We will surely enjoy this home in the years to come.

  • This house was simply AMAZING! Very clean, welcoming and spacious. Close to every wineries and town center and easy access from San Francisco. I would totally come back to this house and recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a rental house in Sonoma! Also the house owners are very nice as well!
