Steps to the sand, we are only the second house in from the ocean, this Connecticut-style cozy beach hideway is just the perfect place for a family with kids, a romantic getaway, or a writer's retreat. 3 Bedroom, single story. One king bedroom, one bedroom with twin beds that can be pushed together to make another king, and one very comfortable European style futon sofa in the den.
Hardwood floors, freshly carpeted bedrooms, brick fireplace, and since there is parking only for residents, the beach is virtually private. The property is the second house in from the ocean, so you are right there with a view of the sand from the living room.
There is a big back yard with an additional outdoor hot shower cabana, BBQ, outdoor fire pit, and seating for 12 to dine al fresco at a big table. Brand new landscaping with environmentally friendly stone and sand theme. Back yard includes lounge patio and sand beach with brick-bottom fire pit and boulders for late night marshmallow roastings.
Fresh air, brisk surf with breathtaking parks within walking distance in both directions. Bike paths, fishing, rollerblading, some of the best surfing in S. California, an adorable old town loaded with events, shopping, dining and more... and even a very near seaside strip with a handful of quaint, delicious dining choices and coffee bar.
Take a 5 minute walk in the AM to get your latte and walk along the sand...same goes for dinner with Italian, Sushi, Fish & Chips, Taco's N Beer, Mexican, beach equipment rental, bike rentals, beauty salons...all in walking distance. Don't forget to try Duke's for a Mahi-Mahi burger! Sit on a lounger in the back yard or try your hand at boogey boarding. Walk to the fresh gourmet fruit stand on the corner to pick up some fresh tomatoes and a loaf of french bread, still warm from the oven.
There is always something going on in town...
