On your next vacation visit Creeden Cottage, a lake front family compound that features 2 distinct homes with outstanding panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains. Gather with family and friends and enjoy the sunset views from the brick patio, the boat dock, or the cocktail dock that extends over the water.
You may rent the Lake-side Cottage by itself, or together with the Guest Cottage, but they will not be rented separately.
The Lake-side Cottage, steps away from the water, is a year round home that has recently been updated throughout including the addition of a brand new master suite with a private bath. This Cottage has 3 bedrooms and a private den with 2 full baths that will comfortably sleep up to 10 people.
The Guest Cottage is a brand new, year round vacation home with 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths with all the space and convenience of a home that will comfortably sleep 8 people. It is set back from the lake but still offers the same beautiful views of the lake and mountain.
Lot's to do regardless of the season. During the winter sit in front of a warm fire indoors (both homes have fireplaces) or by a camp fire outdoors and enjoy the mountain views while the locals ice fish. Take a 3 minute ride to the ski slopes for a day of skiing at Shawnee Peak, one of New England's finest family ski resorts. On those hot summer days, dive or step into the water for a refreshing swim.
Our family retreat has much to offer summer, winter or fall; ski on water or snow; enjoy a swim; hike the mountain anytime of year; ski-mobile the lake or the local trails; tie up your boat on our private boat dock or mooring (the boat launch is located at the end of our road); take our canoe for a paddle on the lake; on land you can play horseshoes, basketball, wiffle ball, toss a football or baseball around; indoors, plenty of board games for all ages. Enjoy a camp fire under the stars. As you can see we have thought of everything!
Easy access to downtown Bridgton, a quintessential New England village, for shopping, restaurants, and movie theatre; North Conway is within 20 minutes for the tax free factory outlets, shops and more skiing; Bridgton Drive-in Theater is a real treat during the summer; Several 18 hole golf courses are close by; and the Fryeburg Fair in October is only minutes away.
