We enjoyed a wonderful long weekend at Parkway's Edge. The cabin was very clean and the location was great with easy access to Boone, Blowing Rock and the Blue Ridge Parkway. Enjoyed seeing snow on both our first and last days! We definitely hope to return!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Cabinwas very clean! Owner great to work with. We had lots of room to spread out, and really liked the piracy of the property. Great mountain views.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

We had a great time at parkways edge. The overall feeling we had it that the house felt like a home, not a rental. The owners furnished it with all of the things that would make you feel comfortable at home, nice dishes, plenty of cooking supplies, good linens, comfortable furniture. And lots of lamps! I hate only bright overhead lighting and loved all of the lamps everywhere, it made the house so cozy and relaxing. The best thing for us though was all the toys! We didn't have to pack any and the kids had a blast. Even the toys that they have (like Legos ) are so much more fun when they're someone else's. the older kids loved the basement and the littles loved the loft. This meant peace for the adults. We got to watch the Super Bowl and downton abbey! And thank you so much for having a sturdy, reliable, permanently afixed baby gate at the top of the stairs. It gave us such a sense of security. We will recommend this house to friends and hope to return ourselves.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, families with young children.

Parkway's Edge for exactly what we were looking for. We didn't expect the house to be so beautifully decorated for Christmas. Owners showed extreme thoughtfulness. Everything we might need to get started was there......laundry detergent, dishwasher soap. Directions for everything were clear and complete. The view was wonderful.How could owners possibly have arranged for just the right amount of Christmas snow? They might want to know that, in ice and snow, nothing was ever done to Ben Miller Rd. Without 4 wheel drive, getting in and out would have been iffy.The kids did fine on the trundles; our king was as good as our own at home.....and we are picky. St Luke's Ch, Green Park Inn, Our Daily Bread, Lowes....all unusually friendly. Kids noticed how helpful the locals were in town. Not like New York! The house was better than the listing description. We would certainly recommend it; we hope to stay there again in the spring. The morning we left we had an ice storm, a real concern. Owners called and advised us only to leave if we felt safe. They would make adjustments. There were many items we didn't need stored in closets of first floor master. Baby things. We moved it all into the basement then returned them when we left.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway, families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway, sightseeing.

Everything was lovely and the home is very well equipped. In fact our only complaint was that there was so much there we did not have much space to put our groceries and things. We had a great time relaxing and would be very comfortable recommending this home to friends.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, sightseeing.

The cabin was exactly as described and pictured, and very clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this cabin for families traveling with preschool age children. Our children loved the toys and movies in the loft area, and enjoyed playing air hockey and riding the roller coaster in the basement. It was easily accessible via a narrow dirt road just off a main highway. It was very private, but not in a remote area. It was convenient having a grocery store nearby, and Boone and Blowing Rock 20-25 minutes away. It was also nice being so close to the BRP. We look forward to future stays at this cabin!Recommended for: Families with young children.

Thanks for letting us stay at your mountain house. We found the home to be cozy and warm. The two large master suites were very nice and the king beds in both were very comfortable. I usually don't sleep well when out of town, but the bed was so comfortable I slept great! I loved all the big windows in the house. I couldn't resist opening some of them and letting the fresh air in. This home is very private and in a quiet location with great views. I hope to plan another stay in the spring. Thanks again for making our experience with another VRBO rental a success.
