Year Purchased: 2005
Greetings! Thank you for stopping by. Although I am not a native Islander, I have been coming here with my family since 1989. And like so many who have come here to this magical Island, from the first moment we stepped foot off that first boat, we were hooked. It was love at first site. Martha's Vineyard is a truly unique and special place.
During the summer months, I am a leisure charterboat captain specializing in taking guests out for a special day at sea that they might not be able to experience otherwise.
I am always happy to answer any questions about the island, places to go, things to see.
Why the Owner Chose Oak Bluffs
My wife and I started coming to the island by boat, staying in Oak Bluffs harbor, beginning in 1989. From there as our little family grew, we bought our first piece of land and I built a house on it in 1987 (we didnt wait long). As the family has grown even more, we bought a second lot and built this house for friends and extended family. When we are not using it, we offer it to you!

Our "Vacation Home" on MV

This has been "our vacation home" for the past 5 years. Our family, including 3 teenaged children look forward to our week of relaxing at the beaches, riding on the bike trails of MV and exploring the island The two upstairs bedrooms are very large and can accomodate an air mattress if needed. There is air conditioning. The house is on a quiet, private road, so it is safe for small children. The owners have provided lots of information/activities on the island. Ed, the owner, is very accessible and willing to help in any way. I would highly recommend this rental.

We have stayed here about a half dozen times. It feels like our second home. It is clean, charming, comfortable and roomy enough to accommodate all our family and friends. The newly added porch increased its already charming and spacious feeling. It is the perfect place to read the morning newspaper with a hot cup of coffee or unwind with a chilled glass of wine at the end of beautiful beach day. This house has everything you need to enjoy a fantastic Vineyard vacation.

We had a great stay at this rental! I just rebooked for next summer and thought I might review. Great location with just a short drive to our favorite restaurants. Ample space and bathrooms. One nice touch is the Welcome Book, which the family clearly took a lot of time to write. This is a very insightful guide to the island and made us feel more than welcome, we felt like true vineyarders!
