The Silver Shell's complex consists of 5 buildings with St. Lucia being the newest. The property covers 31 acres with 1,000 feet of private beach.
This unit has 1,804 square feet of living space and two outdoor balconies. The Family Room, Kitchen and Master Bedroom open to one balcony. The other two bedrooms share the second balcony, looking to the east for a beautiful sunrise over Henderson State Park. The unit has been professionally appointed with a West Indies décor.
The Master Bedroom has a King size bed with a great view of the sun setting over Destin. Master bath has a large jacuzzi tube with separate shower. The Master closet is very large and has a Pack-n- Play for our guest with babies to use. We have added a child size twin sleeping nook in the master closet.
The Family room and all bedrooms have a TV and DVD in each. There are two other bedrooms, with a King in one and 2 twin beds in the other. The King has it own full bath with tub and shower combo. The third full bath is the Twin bedroom, and has a walk-in shower. This unit has plenty of closet space. The Unit has a full size washer and dryer, located in a separate laundry room with a pantry closet and wine cooler. Free wireless internet is included.
The Kitchen is complete with everything you need except your groceries. There are so many great places to eat in the surrounding area, you may not want to cook!
Silver Shells is bordered by Henderson State Park on the east. The State Park is a wonderful place to walk and bike. Also, you must set aside some time for pampering in the Silver Shells Spa. If Health and Fitness are a large part of your lifestyle, then you have found the place. Completely renovated Cardio room and weight room, with an indoor swimming pool, hot tub, and sauna are available for your use. Basketball court and tennis courts are complimentary. Head out to the beach and enjoy beach chair rental service. Silver Shells also has The Sandbar at the beach, for a good cold drink and lunch. For fine dining, Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is located on the property.
St. Lucia also has it own pool and hot tub. You may also use the gas grills located on the lobby patio with tables and chairs. This unit also includes a designated covered parking spot, in a gated garage by the elevator. Security is excellent, but remember you must be 25 to be a renter.
If there is not enough to do at Silver Shells, then you may want to go to the Big Kahuna or The Track. If you are into shopping, Destin Commons is just a mile or two east, and a little further is Silver Sands Outlet Mall. Recommendations for golf outings and fishing excursions are also available. As the day comes to an end, head back to a beautifully appointed, sixth floor, end unit with a beautiful view of the Gulf.

We chose Destin because we have spent most of our Beach time in Destin. This was an excellent opportunity to purchase a new construction that met high hurricane standards.

We are the Porters from Columbus, MS. We have 3 children and love to spend time together in Destin. We have celebrated birthdays, brought guys to fish, mom for chill out time,kids on end of the year trips and just sat on the balcony and drank coffee to noon! Good Times and Memories!

We loved your unit. Our 4 year old loved the bed in the master bedroom closet. It was his little hideaway. Very nice to have his own space. The unit was very well furnished and had everything we needed in the kitchen. Loved the small pool that was just for the St Lucia building, very nice and was never crowded. We used the grills and it was nice they were just off the lobby area on the lobby level. Our only complaint, the wifi was terrible. We called to have it reset and it still was terrible. We had to sit in the hallway outside the unit to use it. If you need it for work, that is good to know. If we need a unit this size again we will definately rent this unit again. We were a group of 6, 5 adults and 1 child.

The best place to use your computer is at the kitchen counter. I find it works well there but not as fast as at my home where I am the only one on the network. We all wanted to let you know your condo is beautiful, spacious, and the furnishings are top notch! The entire crew had 7 nights of the best sleep because the bedding, which was by far: the best! We DID NOT want to leave because it was starting to feel like home to us. We had easy access to the beach and the grounds of Silver Shells was impecable. We had a couple of issues, but were quickly resolved - the maintenance crew as well as the staff at Silver Shells were extremely nice. The beach service and staff were very accomodating and helpful to us during our entire stay on the beach. Again, we had an AWESOME time and are looking forward to going back!!!

I had high expectations before ariving at the Porter's Condo. But I must say that I was blown away with the spaciousness, beauty, ammenities, special touches and the obvious thoughtfulness for their guests. The views were spectacular, especially since we were there for Memorial Day, and Destin presented an "over the Gulf' fireworks show! We could walk to many restaurants which was so nice, and we were so close to everything one could want to do while on vacation. Although there are several lovely pools and outside jacuzzi's; the spa has a free sauna, jacuzzi and the most spectacular lap pool which was not cluttered by guests wanting to 'play' in the water. The other exercise rooms at the spa were top notch as well. Having fobs and entry codes were so much better than keys, especially since we had lots of teenagers with us. I highly recommend this property to families, or couples wanting a luxurious get away.
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, people with disabilities, sightseeing, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers.

We had a wonderful time. It was the fourth time we had stayed at 610 St. Luica and we plan to return for a fifth time next spring. Thank you for sharing your lovely vacation home with our family. The Silver Shells resort is a great place to relax and enjoy some quality time with your family. The Beach, the pool, the tennis courts, the spa and the secure environment are truly first class.

We had a great time. Everything was just perfect. We could not have had a nicer condo. The condo is luxuriously furnished It has everything you could possibly need. The location is great. There are several good restaurants within walking distance. The pool, gym, and spa were just wonderful. We are looking forward to our next stay there.

My entire family enjoyed this condo! It is very spacious and nicely furnished. The pool is AWESOME! We also enjoyed the beachside cabana hut for lunches. the beach was nice and the service there was great. My wife and I also enjoyed using the gym and spa that are on site. Several restraunts are within easy walking distance. I can't tell you a single bad thing about our stay. I highly reccomend this condo unit and this complex. We enjoyed it so much we booked this same condo again for our next trip.

We have been to Destin for the last 8 years, but have returned to this condo the last 3 consecutive years staying multiple times a year. It is a wonderful place to bring a family or just a few friends. Beautifully decorated and every amenity thought of. The beach is a very short walk away, great food and a day spa right next door, and in the center of all the shopping. We have stayed at several different condos over the years and have found we are most satisfied when staying here.

Our family stayed in this condo and absolutely loved it! Very spacious, clean and comfortable and very well appointed. Easy access to beach and facilities. Beautiful view and very relaxing. Great location for shopping and dining as well. We will definitely seek to stay in this unit again.
