Why the Owner Chose Starr Pass
We love spending time at Starr Pass in Tucson. This beautiful city set amidst towering sugaro cacti and scenic desert mountains has sunny blue skies, cool nights and a variety of flowers year round. Starr Pass is adjacent to the Sugaro National Park and offers hiking and biking at our doorstep. The Clubhouse and the Marriott Hotel offer terrific food and fabulous views. The golf course is nationally acclaimed. We have easy access to the freeway and downtown, and it's only a two hour drive to Mexico or Phoenix. We spend a lot of time outdoors on the patio overlooking the golf course. We are confident that you will love a vacation in our home too!!

Great home, great amenities and restaurants. Our visit to Tucson was wonderful, and we were fortunate to have found this home in Starr Pass Resort. It is within walking distance of the clubhouse and pool and the fabulous Marriott Hotel (or you can take the shuttle to the hotel). There is easy access to the freeway, downtown and the airport, but this location in the hills definitely gives you a feeling of privacy, peace and quiet. We will return!

My husband and I visited Tucson for several days in August 2010 and were so fortunate to spend our time in this lovely home. It is well appointed, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, the property is very private and quiet, and a lovely family of quails hopped through the backyard fence, which overlooks the golf course, every morning to feast from the garden's bounty. A lovely backyard to enjoy one's morning coffee and very relaxing home to come home to at the end of a busy day. It's close to the mountains, several nice restaurants are nearby, and we were very pleased with our stay. Thank you, Bob and Lura, for providing travelers with such a welcoming home when visiting Tucson.
Recommended for:Sightseeing, romantic getaway, girls getaway, adventure seekers, age 55+.

We enjoyed the lovely, comfortable home out of the city, yet convenient to all the sites of interest in Tucson. It's in a great location for walking, hiking, biking and golf. Shopping, grocery stores, and restaurants are close and convenient. And it is very enjoyable to sit on the patio, especially in the quiet of the morning and evening, and just relax!

We love this house, and you will too! The tree shaded patio has a fountain and sits on the golf course. It is truly an outdoor living room. You can see city lights at night. Use our pool card for swimming and relaxing at the pool and/or get a 50% golf discount! ***We have had the same guests during high season for 2-3 months for three years. Obviously, they enjoy their visits to our home!
