  Dear Bob and Jane, Monica here. I rented the Princess Jamaica beach house June 8-15. I just wanted to let you know that we had a wonderful time. Your house is very nice. We wnet to the beach everyday except one, we went to Moody Gardens and alot of shopping. It is great that people like you give others the chance to have a Great place to stay. When I get my pictures I will send you some. If we do go back to Galveston next year we will be calling for this house first. I also like that I was able to talk to you anytime I needed to. Thanks again for allowing us to rent your house. We made great memories. Thank you Monica

  This property is AMAZING! All the comforts of a modern home tucked a few yards off the gorgeous and private beach. The views from the decks (2 of them) were absolutely amazing. The sound of the waves was very relaxing. The bedrooms were very comfortable and the fact there was 3 bathrooms upstairs and 1 in the bunk room made for very little problems getting everyone showered and out the door. The owners have done an excellent job in thinking of all the comforts of home. I was pleased that the kitchen was 100% equipped to cook for a large group with nice pots and pans provided. In a nutshell, I would rent this property again in a heartbeat. Great family and friends getaway and only 45 minutes from home!

  BOB AND JANE: I just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed the Princess Jamaica beach house and wanted to thank you for sharing it with us. It was absolutely perfect for our needs and everyone really enjoyed their stay. We especially enjoyed that it was so close to the beach and we could go back and forth with such ease, even with the younger kids we were not so worried about them getting back and forth, perfect location!! We even took our flashlights and went looking for crabs when it got dark. We played cards, fished, built sand castles, looked for shells, swam and spent time together. The weather was great too until the second Saturday but even in the rain it was relaxing!! My mom, who is 87, and her sister, who is from Louisiana, were able spent a lot of time together quietly at the house while the rest of us were downstairs or at the beach. We had three bar-b-q’s and did quite a bit of cooking. The kitchen was SO well equipped too!!! I brought with us several things I needed for the week but you seem to have everything!!! One of the things I brought was a Bundt pan and I had asked my daughter to bring hers because I needed two. She forgot, but low and behold there was one there….who would have thought!!! I just wanted to let you know, from a woman’s perspective, because I wasn’t sure Jerry would sound as appreciative of everything as I was!!! I have sent your website to others and recommended it to friends as well. We are definitely planning on doing it again next year!!! Thank you again for sharing with us. It built memories and allowed us to relax, rewind and reconnect!!

  nice to have everything one needs for cooking in the kitchen. the view from the decks were awsome. Bob answered his phone while on his own vacation to help us with a minor issue. even tho we were a mid sized group (9) the home is large enough to accomodate the largest of groups. no minded the eleven mile drive from galveston to the house. thanks again for sharing your home with us because a great time was had by all.

  Princess Jamaica house met our needs for family reunion. Very close to the beach and had all the cooking utensils, linens and a very nice new washer and dryer. Was in pristine condition when we checked in on Friday , June 15th.

  We had a great stay at this location all was as listed in the AD. Great view of the water and a short walk to the beach.Kitchen was perfect as was the attached living room. Plenty of Bathrooms and that helped with 6 adults and two small children. Very quiet the week we were there but we did notice on Saturday there were more people arriving and it was still quiet. Will strongly consider this location when we come to the beach again. 10 miles from the main area of Galveston but seems short. Lots of places to eat on Sea Wall. Strongly Recomend Guido's for sea food.

  Princess Jamaica was the perfect house for our family, which hailed from nj and all over Texas to celebrate some important birthdays, anniversaries, and even thanksgiving. The kitchen was spacious and well equipped for a thanksgiving meal. There is lots of sitting space for a large family, nice deck space for chilling in the balmy ocean air. Tv's, though rarely used, in several rooms with DVDs to borrow, as well as lots of reading material. The ocean is super close and the house has ocean view.the wners are super sweet and attentive and the house feels homey with lots of nice details. The dogs loved being on the deck too, and it is nice Y equipped for kids and dogs since there is a gate. We would love to visit here again. Thanks Jane and bob!

  This was our 2nd year to rent this house and I just can't say enough good about the house and the owners. Our group of friends just love staying at this house during the motorcycle rally in Galveston. It is close enough to everything at the rally but yet a nice bike ride back to the house. There is plenty of room for everyone in our group even the single guys get the bunk room downstairs. Even our dog loves this place and even remembered being there before. I don't have to worry about him getting out onto the road because of the gate on the deck to keep him in. The kitchen is very well stocked with dishes, pots and utensils. All I had to do was go to town and buy the food and paper goods (plates and cups) so I didn't have to wash so many dishes. We'll be back again! Thanks for letting us rent and use your home on the beach. We consider it our home away from home now!

  We had 4 couples and 3 children ranging in ages from 9 months to Four years. We have been coming to Galveston almost every year for 31 yrs. This is the first time we have rented directly from owners of the property and will certainly do so again. The house was wonderful and we had all the room we needed. Close to the beach but not so close that we could not catch the grandchildren before they reached to stairs to the beach. Well stocked kitchen, having a large family this is the first time I can remember having a pot big enough to cook enough spaghetti or soup for the entire group at one time. We will be back again!!! Thank you, Jane and Bob for sharing your home with us!

  I took my very small high school band on a trip to Galveston and had a marvelous time at this spacious beach house! The area is nice. People in the area are very friendly. The owners are the best I've ever done business with! Lovely kitchen! Very clean! I DEFINITELY would recommend this place! I DEFINITELY plan on returning!
