My Husband and I just returned from a wonderful vacation in Guayabitos. We were lucky enough to have had the pleasure of renting from this owner; Sue is absolutely great! She went out of her way to make sure we were well taken care of! The Casita is exactly what the pictures show, as well as the description! The location is excellent for getting to the beach (a short 10 minute walk), walking to LaPenita, again, a short walk. Getting into downtown Guayabitos via the road or beach is quick too! Everything is only 10 minutes away by foot! We welcomed the walks trying to wear off the cervezas we over indulged in daily!! If you don't like to walk, take a cheap cab for 30 pesos, they are everywhere! One of my favorite things was going up on the rooftop in the morning, coffee and camera in hand, taking pics of the family of Iguanas living in the palm tree a few yards away! They were huge and amazing to watch!! If you are looking for an affordable, no frill place, with a comfy king bed, nice bathroom and a well equipped kitchen... check this one out! The downstair neighbors, (Harv & Mickey) were also amazing...inviting us to tag along to their favorite places, and taking us under their wing!!!! Thanks Sue, we would definately rent from you again! It was great, we now have a new friend!! See you soon! P.S. Check out her other rentals! If you want a beautiful Casita with a pool and fantastic landscape in a very peaceful setting..Sue has it!! We had the privelage of being invited over to her Casa, checked out her other rentals and to spend the day! What a host! Thanks again Sue...and thanks for the laughs!

This casita is perfect for a couple. It is less than a 10-minute walk to the beach. You have a nice kitchen fully equipped; your own rooftop patio with lovely views, good king-size bed, good bath & shower and the maid comes in every week. The landlords Sue & Del are very helpful and keep drinking water stocked in the casita. The location in a residential area at north end of Guayabitos is great because both La Penita and Guayabitos are within a 15-20 minute walk. The neighborhood has many trees, palms and flowering shrubs. We love walking to restaurants every day where the food is great (and less expensive than cooking at home in U.S.). Great produce, seafood & markets in both Guayabitos and La Penita are accessible on foot. If you are not able to walk very far…just take a cab, they are low cost too. We do not speak Spanish but manage quite well. But the best reason of all to stay here is the WEATHER – warm, sunny and not humid! Wonderful.

I spent all of December in this casita and I couldn't have chosen a better place to stay. As soon as I arrived I was impressed with the beauty of the natural surroundings, the neighborhood and the casita itself. It's clean, functional, quiet, close to the beach and the people in the area are very friendly and warm. I made many lifelong friends during my stay here and I can't wait to come back again. There is so much to do around here! I spent a month and feel there is still so much more to discover. If you are looking for small, charming place for one or two people, don't let this opportunity pass you by.

My husband and I have stayed in this casita for the past four years, since it was newly built and found it perfect for two. The accommodations are comfortable, everything is new and in working order, and the owners are gracious and accommodating. The location is perfect. The public tennis courts are a block away, there is a park across the street and it is a short 5 minute walk to the beach. A pleasant 1/2 hour walk along the beach takes you to Guayabitos for shopping or dining. Or 1/2 hour walk through the residential neighborhood and over the suspension bridge to La Penita for additional shopping and the Thursday market. The central location and the included amenities make this one of the best priced properties in the Guayabitos area. Highly recommended.
