Conch Casa Grande might well be the largest home available for vacation rental in the Truman Annex, which is appealing to anyone who wants to have some elbow room during their stay in American Paradise. But what really sets this home apart is its wonderful sense of grace and style.
From the moment you set foot in the spacious front foyer of this magnificent home, you have a sense of what it might have been like to be wealthy in Key West during the 19th century. With its 11 foot ceilings, mahogany floors and carefully detailed woodwork, this grand home captures the essence of conch style from another era, but since it was built only a few years ago has all of the modern conveniences we expect from a truly grand home.
The living room is simply spectacular; with space and light everywhere you look. This is a home that is perfect for entertaining, yet has a relaxed style that encourages you to just sit back and enjoy your stay in the American Paradise.
The kitchen will meet the demands of the most ambitious chef and it is large enough for the sous-chef and assistants, too. In fact, the whole family could hang out here. The powder room is nearby, and you will be surprised to see that it is as large as many master baths; it has a full bathtub and shower as well.
From the living room and kitchen you can see the private pool through the SIX sets of double french doors that span the entire back of the house. There will be plenty of room on the porch and patio for everyone in your group to get their fair share of sun or shade, with the complete privacy afforded by the lush landscaping.
The media room and study is as large as most living rooms in Key West. There is an extensive library, a large TV and an over-sized desk for anyone stuck with doing real work during their stay in paradise. With that in mind, this room can be closed for quiet privacy.
Off the front hall downstairs is the first of six bedrooms. When you walk in you might think this is the master suite. Those 11-foot ceilings, the beautiful in-suite bathroom and a king size bed mean that everyone in every bedroom will feel pampered.
As you climb the stairs to the second floor, the meticulous attention to every detail and the continuing sense of space and light are apparent everywhere you look. There are four more bedrooms upstairs, and it would be easy to become confused as to which one is the real master bedroom: every room is spacious, has a king bed and has its own in-suite bathroom. True, the Grand Master bedroom is larger than the others, but no one in your group will feel slighted by their accommodations in this grandest of homes. The sixth bedroom suite is on the third floor with a queen bed.
Outside, the tropical landscaping has been carefully designed and tended to provide great views, while still maintaining your privacy.
You'll have your own keys that will provide direct access to and from the Truman Annex via private gates. Wireless high-speed Internet access and Cable TV are included. Digital cable with pay-per-view is available on request. Unlimited long distance and international phone service is included. Daily maid and/or linen service is available on a daily or weekly basis at additional cost.

AN ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL VACATION RENTAL......just PERFECT! This lovely immaculate home accomodated our family of 7 very comfortably. From our 92 year old Matriach Mother to the "kids" 23 and 27......each and everyone in our party gave CONCH CASA GRANDE an A+! The location is excellent and within walking distance of all attractions and the beach. Truman Anex is a peaceful enclave with lush gardens surrounding each home.
