Lovely private vacation cabin, near the Arkansas River in the Rocky Mountains of Central Colorado. This is a private home, not part of a campground or motel. It offers comfort and private fishing access to the Arkansas River and a boat launch. Views are all around of Sangre de Cristo Moutains and Arkansas River Valley.

Our vacation rental is designed for comfort and relaxation. Deorated in a cottage-style with wood fireplace, romantic master bedroom, kids bedroom, fully-equipped kitchen, dining room and living room. Patios are in front and back with BBQ grill on the back porch and patio dining area. Walk across the driveway down to the river and enjoy fishing on the Arkansas, have a picnic, swim or launch a raft.

Located just 10 miles east of Salida and 45 miles west of Canon City, in Bighorn Sheep Canyon. Located in the banana belt of Central Colorado, we enjoy mild and dry weather year round, relative to other areas of Colorado.

Our treed 1.7 acre lot is easily accessed just off of highway 50, but is buffered from the road by hills and trees. Views of the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, and Arkansas River Valley surround the cabin, and can be seen from the windows, patio and yard. Whether you enjoy fly fishing, white water rafting or just relaxing, our vacation rental cabin is your home away from home.

We are near hiking, mountain biking, kayaking, or whitewater river rafting with numerous outfitters in Cotopaxi, just 10 miles east. World class fly fishing is available from the property and in the Arkansas Headwaters Recreation Areas, all along the 50 plus miles of Highway 50, from Salida to the Royal Gorge.
