Kihei Surfside, Unit 211 is a 1-bedroom, 1.5 bath condominium in a very popular oceanfront complex. From your lanai you see the beautifully manicured lawn with the Pacific Ocean beyond. You can see West Maui, the island of Lanai and fantastic sunsets from your lanai. In the winter season the whale watching is the best.
The lawn area offers lounge chairs for relaxing, or for the more athletic: horse shoes, croquette, shuffleboard, putting green, frisbee throwing and swimming in the oceanfront heated pool. Keawakapu Beach, a popular swimming and snorkeling site is just a three minute walk from your front door. Or you could head ten minutes north across the lawn and past the Kihei Boat Ramp through the nature preserve to Kamaole's sandy Beach with extensive grass lawn for picnics.
Our condo, Unit 211 is our home away from our home. JUST ADDED: 37" FLAT SCREEN TV WITH DVR. We reside in Florida and since we visit usually twice a year we try and provide the unit with all the conveniences we like to have and use during our stay in Maui. We ALSO have fully digital phone/internet service with free local calls and FREE calls to US and Canada. Stay in touch while on vacation. The unit is fully tiled and has ceiling fans in both the living area and bedroom. The full bath has a large shower with handheld sprayer for your use.
There's linens for the king bed and the queen sofa sleeper and towels for the full and half bath. When you feel like eating in instead of dining out at the many fine restaurants in the area - the kitchen is stocked with items that you might need. There is also a hair dryer, iron and ironing board. The laundry room on the 1st floor is convenient and the office will sell you quarters to use. The office staff is glad to help you with information and suggestions even though they are not a concierge. The office also has some videos, DVD's and audio books and there is a cabinet library near the laundry room.
There are many activities close by the complex. The Wailea Shops feature many restaurants and entertainment on Wednesday evenings. At Mulligan's on the Blue they feature music most evenings with a special dinner show, Wailea Nights, on Thursday and Friday evenings. One show in Lahaina which is excellent is Warran & Annabelle's, a magic comedy show. These are just a few or our favorites.
