Great Ski Weekend in Even Greater Location!

Before finding this little piece of heaven, my friends and I were looking for a much bigger place to stay for the weekend of March 4th-March 6th. We had four couples and wanted plenty of space. When I saw this place, I couldn't beat the deal so I called the owners and within minutes I had made contact and had reserved the house for the weekend. The owners are extremely nice and very helpful. Detailed instructions are given to you before you arrive and again before you leave. The owners send you detailed directions which was very helpful as well. The house was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had plenty of pots/pans and other accessories to cook large meals for our group. When it comes to location, it just doesn't get any better. There are amazing views of the trails at Big Boulder from the living room window, deck, and upstairs back bedroom; which are even better at night! The drive to the mountain is literally about a 60 second drive from the house. This was an AWESOME feature since we were there to ski, not to drive! One night we did venture out to eat at Shenanigans Restaurant, (about five minutes from the house), which is what we thought was going to be similar to an Applebees or a TGI Fridays.....but we were wrong! The food was so much better than we had anticipated! The only negative thing that happened to us was that although we had three vehicles, we had NO parking in front of the house even for the one vehicle that was allotted for the rental. The neighbors had three vehicles that never moved so we had to park in the lot which is about 100 ft from the house, not a big deal though. I highly recommend this rental for large groups or small, especially if you're there to ski. We are already planning our trip for next year!

This was our first time vacationing in the Poconos, we definately enjoyed our stay. The townhouse was more than adequate, plenty of room for our family of four. The townhouse was beautifully decorated,clean and we had everything that we needed. Located within minutes away from Lake Harmony and Split Rock Resort. Recommend visiting Jim Thorpe and Bushkill Falls. I would recommend anyone visiting the Poconos to consider staying at this townhouse,

Great Family Vacation!

My husband and I and our three children enjoyed a wonderful week in this lovely home. It was well maintained, clean and had all the items needed to prepare a meal, if we chose to. Of course, since it was vacaton, we went out for dinner most nights at the many near-by restaurants. We all enjoyed the tennis courts right behind the house and deer watching right from the front porch. We all played pool and ping pong together - no small feat with two boys (ages 15 and 18) and a 12 yr. old girl who normally can't agree to do anything together! We had fun at the beach and pool and rented padal boats to see the rest of the lake. The owner could not have been more accomodating and helpful. It was an exceptional value and we would not hesitate to recommend this home to friends and family.

We really had a wonderful time at this vacation home over the last few days (June 2010). The house had extensive amenities and was beautifully designed. Thanks to the owner for all the helpful assistance with setting us up there. Our little girls loved playing by the lake via the mountain club access. It is so scenic and private – had a great time! We would definitely be interested in staying at this home again the next time we vacation in Lake Harmony.

we had an amazing stay at this great location.. house was extremely well equipped and furnished. 2 min from big boulder (if that) and fifteen from jack frost. definitely suggest to rent to others. bedrooms were perfect size and master bathroom is gorgeous. provided linens for guest but bring own towels. great gas grill outside on deck. entertainment in basement with poker table and ping pong. couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and owners were so helpful with any questions we had.

We had a great time during our visit to the Poconos. I would recommend this townhouse to anyone. It had all the amenities, spacious, cleans and very close to Big Boulder/Jack Frost slopes. Perfect place if you are looking to get a group of people together. We will be back!
