Great Ski Weekend in Even Greater Location!

Before finding this little piece of heaven, my friends and I were looking for a much bigger place to stay for the weekend of March 4th-March 6th. We had four couples and wanted plenty of space. When I saw this place, I couldn't beat the deal so I called the owners and within minutes I had made contact and had reserved the house for the weekend. The owners are extremely nice and very helpful. Detailed instructions are given to you before you arrive and again before you leave. The owners send you detailed directions which was very helpful as well. The house was very clean and well maintained. The kitchen had plenty of pots/pans and other accessories to cook large meals for our group. When it comes to location, it just doesn't get any better. There are amazing views of the trails at Big Boulder from the living room window, deck, and upstairs back bedroom; which are even better at night! The drive to the mountain is literally about a 60 second drive from the house. This was an AWESOME feature since we were there to ski, not to drive! One night we did venture out to eat at Shenanigans Restaurant, (about five minutes from the house), which is what we thought was going to be similar to an Applebees or a TGI Fridays.....but we were wrong! The food was so much better than we had anticipated! The only negative thing that happened to us was that although we had three vehicles, we had NO parking in front of the house even for the one vehicle that was allotted for the rental. The neighbors had three vehicles that never moved so we had to park in the lot which is about 100 ft from the house, not a big deal though. I highly recommend this rental for large groups or small, especially if you're there to ski. We are already planning our trip for next year!

This was our first time vacationing in the Poconos, we definately enjoyed our stay. The townhouse was more than adequate, plenty of room for our family of four. The townhouse was beautifully decorated,clean and we had everything that we needed. Located within minutes away from Lake Harmony and Split Rock Resort. Recommend visiting Jim Thorpe and Bushkill Falls. I would recommend anyone visiting the Poconos to consider staying at this townhouse,

My husband and I and our three children enjoyed a wonderful week in this lovely home. It was well maintained, clean and had all the items needed to prepare a meal, if we chose to. Of course, since it was vacaton, we went out for dinner most nights at the many near-by restaurants. We all enjoyed the tennis courts right behind the house and deer watching right from the front porch. We all played pool and ping pong together - no small feat with two boys (ages 15 and 18) and a 12 yr. old girl who normally can't agree to do anything together! We had fun at the beach and pool and rented padal boats to see the rest of the lake. The owner could not have been more accomodating and helpful. It was an exceptional value and we would not hesitate to recommend this home to friends and family.

We really had a wonderful time at this vacation home over the last few days (June 2010). The house had extensive amenities and was beautifully designed. Thanks to the owner for all the helpful assistance with setting us up there. Our little girls loved playing by the lake via the mountain club access. It is so scenic and private – had a great time! We would definitely be interested in staying at this home again the next time we vacation in Lake Harmony.

we had an amazing stay at this great location.. house was extremely well equipped and furnished. 2 min from big boulder (if that) and fifteen from jack frost. definitely suggest to rent to others. bedrooms were perfect size and master bathroom is gorgeous. provided linens for guest but bring own towels. great gas grill outside on deck. entertainment in basement with poker table and ping pong. couldn't have asked for a better place to stay and owners were so helpful with any questions we had.

We had a great time during our visit to the Poconos. I would recommend this townhouse to anyone. It had all the amenities, spacious, cleans and very close to Big Boulder/Jack Frost slopes. Perfect place if you are looking to get a group of people together. We will be back!

From the guest book at the house. Stayed 11/26 - 12/1 We had a lovely stay! We came to celebrate Thanksgiving and enjoyed our time immensely. The snow was a lovely backdrop to our family holiday! The kids really enjoyed the game room in the basement. The adults enjoyed that the beds were pillow top (unusual in a vacation rental) and the serentity of the environment. We were blessed to enjoy eachcothers company in a short but very sweet weekend. The house was absolutely cozy, high celings and all. I hope the next bunch has as much fun as we did. We will cheris the memories until next year!! The late nights watching tv, blogging after a great day at the Crossing Outlet or Crayola Factory. But the best was the Great Wolf Lodge. Very convenient for tennis and could watch from the deck. Saw deer every day and even managed to feed one from our hands. Brilliant!! The beach and pool were very quiet and relaxing. Kayaking on the lake was great fun. We would certainly like to return here and would recommend it to friends and family. Thank you, The Askwith family from England.

The Sherry's actually have the same glass table in their basement. There was 9 of us and we all had more then enough room. However there was a bit of an any problem while we were here, taht you might want to look into (Owner's Comment: This was corrected as soon as we were notified. There haven't been any other issues). The pool table is a great addition to the house, but left some of the guests feeling distraught iver their constant losses. The TV in the living room is awesome and the games were great to have. The house's proximity to the lake was nice. We had an awesome week and would definitely rent this house again! Thanks for an awesome week! Our group had an amazing time at this beautiful home; Thanks for all the thoughtful and luxurious amentities (Ie. fireplace, telescope, pool table, BBQ grill, flat panel TV, gorgeous bathrooms, clean and comfy beds, etc...!). But after a full weekend of skiing, the boys relaxed, played WII (Owner's comment: WII is not at the house), pingpong, and pool. Thanks for a great time. The house is beautiful. I JUST RETURNED FROM THIS HOUSE WITH MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND I HAVE TO SAY THE HOUSE WAS A PLEASURE TO STAY AT. VERY SPACIOUS AND CLEAN. THE BASEMENT IS AWESOME WITH A POOL TABLE, PING PONG TABLE AND CARD TABLE. IF YOUR A GUYS GUY THIS IS A ROOM FOR YOU. I WOULD DEFINATLY RECOMMEND THIS HOUSE TO ANYONE.

We stayed here in the beginning of January, and LOVED the house. It was so close to JFBB, and the views of the slopes from the deck, were incredible. We've also reccomended this house to family/friends, because we enjoyed our stay so much.
