A new condo, with many upgrades, this third floor, three bed/two bath, Building 10 condominium in the Ocean Walk complex has been furnished in the "Tommy Bahama" style. Everything in the unit is the best there is. We bought this condominium to use on weekends (we live in Orlando, an hour away), but will rent it it in the November-March period each year.
Ocean Walk has won the local builder's showcase first place award for the past 7 years. The complex has a gated entrance, lush grounds, two lighted tennis courts, lighted basketball court, two seasonally heated pools, heated poolside spas, covered poolside patio areas, propane barbecue facilities, and two shuffleboard courts. The poolside clubhouses include a fitness center, dry sauna, changing facilities and shower, ping-pong table, and large multi-purpose room with kitchen area.
The complex is pet friendly and we welcome house broken pets to our condo; we have two dogs ourselves (a lab mix and a miniature dachshund) who love to visit our condominium. Smokers are not welcome nor are cats (we are allergic to cat dander).
The master bedroom has a king sized double bed and LCD TV plus a comfortable reading alcove. The adjoining master bath has a large jacuzzi tub and separate glass enclosed shower. The second bedroom has twins and LCD TV. The third bedroom with adjoining bathroom is configured as a den/office with a double hide-a-bed sofa and a Wall-mounted 46-inch Sony LCD HDTV (we call this the football watching room). Hard wired high speed internet access is in this room near the desk, but there is a router providing WI-FI service to the entire unit, including the screened porch which has seating for four and overlooks the estuary. From the porch, no other buildings are visible...only nature.
Our condo comes with in suite washer-dryer, beach cart and chairs, beach umbrella and two multi-speed bicycles.
The ground floor of the building is a parking garage accessed by a remote opener (provided). An elevator serves the building and there are are carts available to help move groceries and other items (luggage, etc) from the garage to the unit. The roof deck affords views of the estuary and occasional shuttle launches.

Why the Owner Chose Oceanwalk
We owned another condo in NSB that we sold to buy our present unit. Our old unit was older and did not have enclosed parking. Also, it was directly up against Atlantic Avenue, and lacked the quiet we sought. We bought the Ocean Walk unit new, directly from the developer, because of its new construction and location at the back of the multi building property where the view off the screened in balcony is only of the estuary. No noisy traffic, only the sounds of birds and nature.
The Unique Benefits at this Condominium
The property has two clubhouses, two pools, both heated, whirlpool baths at both pools, tennis courts, bocce ball and shuffleboard courts. It is a short walk to the no-drive beach. We have decorated our condo in a Tommy Bahamas look, with all furnishings purchased new in 2007.
We have two large flat panel TVs (one in the living room, the other wall mounted in the "office" and one smaller flat panel in the MBR. We enjoy the HDTV broadcasts from our cable service provider, as well as high speed internet with a wireless router.

I am a commercial real estate broker with a practice specializing in industrial properties and land. My wife, Gail, is a registered nurse. We live and work in Orlando, about an hour from New Smyrna Beach. We use the condo on most weekends as a place to kick back and relax with our dogs, Parkey, a lab-border collie mix, and Jackson, a piebald dachshund.
