We stayed for six days at this cabin. This cabin is very nice. It is very clean, decorated beautifully and is exactly the way the pictures show. Everything we needed was available in the cabin. It was nice to have movies and games provided along with the pool table. This is a beautiful resort, well maintained with some beautiful views of the mountains. We hope to be back again. We absolutely loved the cabin!!!! The game room upstairs provided hours of entertainment for our children. The only suggestion I could make would be to get a light installed over the garden tub in the master bedroom or place a lamp close by. Possibly increase the lighting (wattage of bulbs) in each room or add additional lighting. The fitted sheets on the bed kept coming off the bed located in the first bedroom as you enter. When we arrived ALL the towels for our unit were in the washing machine, washed but not dried. The dishwasher was full of dishes. They were clean but we had to put them away so we could load our dishes before we left. The door on the freezer would come open every time you used the ice dispenser. Other than that it was the perfect place to stay for a peaceful get away. So much better than a hotel.

I do have higher wattage compact flourescent bulbs in the light fixtures in each bedroom but I agree there could be more lighting in the first bedroom besides the bedside lamp and ceiling lighting. I have asked my cleaning/maintenance team to add a floor lamp as well. Sorry about the fitted sheet coming off the bed. I asked the cleaning company to make sure the elastic on the fitted sheets were not unraveling. There were clean towels under the sinks in the bedrooms. The guest prior to your arrival started a load of towels but didn't put it in the drier. The cleaners started the dishwasher but were unable to wait for the cycle to complete and dry before they had to to leave to clean other cabins with turn-arounds that day. I'm sorry for the inconvenience of having to put the dishes away and dry the towels yourselves. I would expect dry towels and clean dishes be put away when I rent a vacation home. There were some ice cubes that fell behind the ice tray box in the freezer which is why the door would not stay closed when using the ice maker. I was at the cabin the following weekend and figured out what was causing it. I hope you can visit again for another peaceful get away.

We had a wonderful time at the Hilltop Hideaway! We couldn't have asked for better weather as it snowed as the family were sitting outside in the hot tub. We also took advantage of the location to Gatlinburg and went strolling downtown through the quaint shops. The girls went to the outlets (which were so close) while the boys went to the nascar park and drove the cars. This cabin is so serene but so close to everything and we will definitely be back!

Great Cabin

This was our second visit to Hilltop Hideaway and we loved it just as much the second time around. The cabin is nicely decorated and equipped with everything we needed. The community is very quiet and we like the fact that it is gated. Very close to attractions and restaurants in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg.

The cabin is beautiful and spacious. My daughter and her friends loved the loft area and enjoyed playing pool and watching movies. I especially enjoyed the rocking chairs on the deck. It is a very tranquil setting. Unfortunately we did not get to use to the hot tub on the first night due to a malfunction but the owner was quick to have the problem fixed the next day. When I spoke to the owner, he was very courteous and gracious. I felt awful that I had to call him but he put all my concerns to rest. He was very helpful. We enjoyed the hot tub very much, especially after a long day of shopping and enjoying the surrounding attractions. The cabin is in a great location if you want to shop, eat, and enjoy all the attractions. The directions provided by the owner were accurate and precise. I really enjoyed my stay at this cabin and even though there were problems, my family and I will definitely be back. I will absolutely be referring my friends and family to this cabin.

The cabin was fun! We loved the automatic fireplace. we enjoyed the pooltable, foosball, hot tub, jacuzi. The cabin had a bunch of fun games and intresting movies it was wonderful! Also the location is great becasue its is close to a bunch of theme parks, stores, terrific restaurants and fun activities (Horse-back riding, Indoor skydiving, zipline, go carts, ect.) to please all family members.

What a beautiful and awesome place to stay. The place is very safe and comfortable. We loved it! Our kids love the game room. The location is excellent! The cabin is very clean and well maintained. The listing description is perfect and accurate. It was just a short stay for us but we really had a great time. The owner is awesome! His instructions and directions was so precised and accurate and it really helped us to find the place very easy. Brent provided us an excellent customer service and he even called us 2 days before our scheduled visit to make sure that we received all the instructions . He is very organized and easy to deal with. He made sure that all our questions been answered. Quick in responding our email and questions. The cabin is not that far to great restaurants, attractions and the Smokey Mountains. We were able to do the Scenic Helicopter tour of the mountain, horse back riding to the mountain trail, rode on the Sky Lift. We were able to visit the Aquarium, Ripleys, and the National Park in Gatlinburg. After a long day of rides, walking and activities, we always looked forward to go back to the cabin to relax. We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin during our trip to shoot the fall foliage. We loved having the outdoor gril, hot tub, and wonderful deck and made ample use of them all. The cabin was very comfortable inside and well appointed - as the site photos represent. Brent was great to work with and we appreciated his assistance. The location was great - very close to attractions yet still quiet. We would love to stay here again if we make it back to the area.

We had the opportunity to stay at this fantastic cabin for a short family vacation. We were so pleased. The kitchen was stocked with everything you needed, the kids loved the pool table and movies, and the. view was wonderful. We look forward to going back next year!! I do highly recommend this property!! One thing we enjoyed also was that it was so close to everything. Cades Cove, Clingmans Dove.. Just a great location. Away from the busy section. We really enjoyed our stay!!

The photo's of this cabin are right on target, however they only tell so much. They do not tell you how peaceful it is to sit on the back porch with your morning coffee. They also do not show how close you are to all the attractions the area has to offer should you desire to go. This cabin is well equipped with all you may need to prepare a meal or I would recommend The Ole Mill Restaurant. Do not go if you are not really hungry. We have stayed in this cabin 3 times and each time it was a pleasure to work with Brent. I would certainly recommend that you stay here if you want a cabin that is clean and well cared for.

The cabin looks like it does in the photos. It is a few miles from the main Pigeon Forge parkway, along some country roads. It is very peaceful and has a nice pool with a waterfall. The cabin is high up on the estate and has good views. All in all, highly recommended. Brent the owner is great to deal with and really cares about his guests.

Great Vacation Spot!!

Although the photos and description of Hilltop Hideaway are precise, you just have to experience a stay at the cabin to really appreciate all the amenities, the views from the cabin (especially from the back porch), and its proximity to the main parkway, restaurants, attractions, and Super Wal-Mart. We were four adults and three children ---- ages 9, 11 and 14. We enjoyed fun-filled activities every day for a full week, but the kids were always excited to return to the cabin for games of foosball and swimming at the community pool. The four of us adults also looked forward to returning to the cabin to enjoy relaxing evenings in the community pool and outdoor jacuzzi. The sightseeing and activities for all ages are endless. We especially enjoyed Obergatlinburg, Dollywood, Splash Country and white water rafting. Logans Roadhouse was a really great place for good, yet inexpensive dining with a family atmosphere. This is a great vacation spot and Hilltop Hideaway is the perfect place to stay.

Wonderful relaxing vacation

We traveled to Hilltop Hideaway and spent all of last week there. We had such a good, good time and would definitely recommend the cabin to everyone. We were with another family of four. We used the kitchen several times to cook full meals. At times it was a little snug with several of us working in the kitchen but we made it work. I truly loved how large the bedrooms were. And the deck was so very nice. We spent everyday in the hot tub or relaxing in the rockers on the deck. The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. We made a walmart trip on the first day to stock up on the necessities like toilet paper, detergent etc. but that is to be expected. We also swam everyday and used both inside and outside pools. We even snuck in a few golf games here and there. The playstation had been stolen prior to our trip and I was very appreciative to Brent for letting us know ahead of time. The movie selection and game selection was a nice surprise. Our 4 kids all had a blast in the cabin. The only negative is just what Brent said in an earlier review about the lack of insulation in cabins and the noise carrying through the walls. We were able to hear alot of movement from up above in the loft from our bedroom below. Overall, I would highly recommend this cabin and its owners to anyone.

Great Vacation Cabin

First, dealing with Brent was great!! The whole renting transaction went very easy and the directions he gives were to the "tee". The cabin is beautiful and nicely kept. It was very clean and came with all basics. The instructions in the cabin are nice too! The kids loved the pool table and the cabin has tons of videos. It also has a great "theater" system that made watching a movie very enjoyable. The pools were smaller than anticpated BUT the kids had a blast using them and loved playing miniature golf. The only complaints we have are : the gas grill ignitor button does NOT work(we had to light it the old fashioned way) also we were disappointed that the view was obstructed with so many branches. We loved sitting on the porch and the cabin is situated high enough with a beautiful view of mountains that we wished we could have enjoyed more. I would definitely recommend renting this cabin and would love to come back.

Owner response:I'm very glad that you thought the rental process was easy. Although a lot of travelers use a GPS now, it is handy to have written directions too. Especially when the GPS thinks it knows where to go! During the summer months the trees at the back of the cabin offer lots of shade and there are still very nice views. However, the best views are in the fall and winter months when the leaves are off the trees. I hope you are able to visit us again. Thanks!

Nice Family Vacation Spot

We googled many cabins to stay in and decided on this because of the resort community and the cabin's ammenities. The community pool and mini golf course were great as well as the cabin itself. The pictures are accurate and the entire resort community is beautiful. We have two boys, 6 and 8, and this is the perfect vacation spot for us. What we enjoyed: Clean, wonderful views, good customer service, easy access to mountains, awesome selection of movies. What we didn't expect: although the log home is great, you can hear the neighbors very clearly through the walls. (We had loud neighbors with dogs who stayed up late and kept us awake.) Overall we would definitely come back again to this cabin and resort community.

With an all wood log cabin, there is no sheet rock or insulation in the walls like most single family homes are built today. That is part of the "cabin experience" but unfortunately, the neighbors didn't realize they can be heard if they are talking loudly from their deck. Come visit us again. Thanks!

This cabin was a wonderful surprise - it was beautiful. The huge deck with personal hot tub was a lot of fun. The kids really enjoyed the upstairs game room with pool table and fooze ball. Watching the sunrise and listening to nature provided for a truly relaxing vacation.

This was a Girls Getaway weekend for my three dearest friends and I. The youngest of the bunch turned 50, thus, our 50 reasons to stay at Hilltop Hideaway. We celebrated; we hiked, shopped, ate and then shopped some more. The cabin is comfortable and homey; close to shopping but definitely away from the noise and rush of traffic. We planned our meals and enjoyed the great kitchen. We were unable to light the gas grill but pan-seared our salmon for supper- no worries! The rocking chairs are conducive to many long talks and great laughs! Thanks Brent we will be back with our hubbies!

Great Vacation Cabin

The owner, Brent, is on top of things. Great communication. All the pictures are exactly what you'll see. The cabin is super clean and well decorated. The cabin is on a hilltop and the view and the quietness is spectacular. One night we watched a skunk forage around in the forest below us. The hot tub was sparkling clean, an the deck wraps all the way around the house. There are lots of plates and glasses and utensils. There are several pots and pans. We cooked almost every breakfast and dinner at the cabin. The only thing we wished for was a metal flipper to use on the grill. There are a couple of metal forks to flip steaks but they don't work well with hamburgers. The table was the perfect size for the 5 adults and 1 child. We loved the fact that each room had a tv/dvd. That way we could watch a movie at night in the bedroom and not have to worry about the rating. There are a lot of movies to choose from and some are quite recent releases and with a variety of ratings... everything from G to R. We used the wifi and had no problems connecting and were able to use it in the house or on the deck. There is a washer and dryer as well so we didn't have to bring so many clothes with us and we didn't have to go home with a pile of laundry. The location is great. It's a few miles from the parkway so you won't hear traffic but getting to the main drag is easy. It's in Sevierville (and if you say severe-ville you'll sound like a native!) but close to Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. There is a Wal-Mart nearby in case you forget anything. That Wal-Mart also has a wall of vacation brochures and discount books. Our vacation was memorable and Hilltop Hideaway was one of the best things about it.

This cabin was very nice and definitely a great place to take family. The paved roads were definitely a plus and also the gated subdivision. I would defintely recommend this cabin to anyone. The cabin was decorated very well and the beds were overall pretty comfortable.

We stayed at Hilltop Hideaway April 2-7, 2011. We really enjoyed our stay. It is located about 3 miles from the Tanger Outlets in Sevierville. The location is very convenient to all attractions, but in a quiet cabin community. The photos and listing description are accurate. It was really nicer than we expected. The bedrooms are large. We had four adults and two small children, and we had plenty of room. The pool table, games, movies and 4 tv's were an added touch. We also enjoyed the indoor pool and the mini-golf course. The cabin was clean and well taken care of, and Brent, the owner, is very easy to work with. We have recommended this cabin to friends.

Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful cabin with us! We took our 2 grandsons and their parents for a little adventure on spring break, and it rained all but one day while we were there. The loft area andf indoor communtiy pool were ideal for them to spend the rainy days, along with the hot tub for the parents! The cabin was exactly as promised, and as beautiful as the pictures. Brent was wonderful to work with, and I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a relaxing vacation with a wonderful mountain view.

Hilltop Hideaway

My family recently spent 5 nights at the Hilltop Hideaway cabin in Pigeon Forge, TN. The cabin was beautifully decorated and the loft was amazing! Everything was just as described on the website. The cabin was very clean, and the kitchen well equipped. The grill was in good working order, as well. We were pleasantly surprised to find so many boardgames and movies! The hot tub was great, very clean! Even though the cabins are close together, you still feel like you have privacy. Bear Creek Crossing is very close to all the activities in Pigeon Forge. We used the putt putt golf course and the indoor pool during our stay. These facilities were also nice. It gave the kids more fun activities without costing extra. My only suggestion would be to provide tissues and pump hand soap in the bathrooms. I did have to go pick up these items at the store. Brent was great to work with. The reservation process was very easy, and he sent us great directions. We would recommend this cabin if you want a comfortable stay in the smokies!

Hilltop Hideaway was a great weekend away from the flooded basement we left behind in Louisville. The amentities are more than you can ask for but some things that we saw that could be better is that when we arrived the cleanliness of the cabin could have been better. The toilets were dirty, molded shower curtains and jacuzzi tub. We found money (change) laying on the floor, and broken crayons in the floor of the back bathroom. Another thing that would be helpful is that there were severe storms that rolled in the last night we were there and we did not know if there were warnings and if so where to go. But all in all it was a great weekend and we will be back.

We stayed the week of Thanksgiving and had a great time. When we arrived, it was nice to see it decorated for Christmas, complete with icicle lights hanging on the front porch! The cabin was very nice and clean. We felt like we were coming home each evening by the end of the week. The location is good as it is not too far off of the main road in Pigeon Forge, yet feels like you are out in the country. Brent was very pleasant to deal with. Highly recommended.

The cabin and Brent are terrific. I made a full breakfast for 6 and had no trouble finding enough cooking items and dishes. There were plenty of TV's for everyone and the hot tub was sparkling clean. My family has been renting cabins in PF area for over 10 yrs. For the price and location this cabin cannot be beat. Most cabins are lean on supplies and use low dollar decor/towels/etc. I was pleasantly surprised to find ample towels for our ENTIRE stay (who wants to do laundry on vacation!?), sheets that were soft and cozy, and upscale furniture that make the cabin feel like a home, not an after thought. The resort's indoor pool was so cold it was unuseable which was a disappointment to the kids and the only reason I gave the property 4 stars instead of 5. However, given the location and the many activities available in the area we still had plenty to do and hardly skipped a beat.

The ad described the cabin accurately and it was very clean. Very well kept, too. We had some great family time around the foosball table and pool table. The location is great-- away from the lights and noise of the parkway but a short drive on backroads puts you in one of two places on the parkway. Very convenient to everything we wanted to do/see!

We stayed at the cabin labor day weekend with another family. There was plenty of room for the 8 of us (4 adults and 4 children) and the cabin is absolutely wonderful. It has everything you need to make you feel like home. It was so nice to be in the area but away from the crowd and traffic. If you want you could easily spend the day relaxing at the cabin. Everything with our stay was perfect. We will definetly be booking this cabin in the the future.

We were really surprised about the location of the cabin. It was REALLY up on a mountain! It turned out to be a very central location with the directions that were left by the fireplace for getting around. Depending on where we were going we would go the "back way" or the "front way". The cabin itself was very clean and beautiful. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Great Family Trip

My wife and I took our 7 year old son and 4 year old daughter and we had a blast. We loved the fact we could hang out at the cabin and play pool or fooseball. Or we could go down the hill to play some putt putt golf then cool off at one of the pools. Very close to everything but away from all the traffic and noise. Brent was great to work with. We needed Lucky's help once and he took our call at 9:30 pm and took care of us right away and followed up the next to make sure everything was ok. When I go back my first call will be to Brent to rent Hilltop Hideaway. Thanks for letting us use your wonderful cabin.

Our family had a great vacation at Hilltop Hideaway! We stayed from July 5th through July 9th 2010 and were concerned about the area being crowded but when we were at the cabin it was like we had our own little piece of the mountain! The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. Our kids loved the pool table, foosball table, and all the games that were provided. The hot tub was great for relaxing after a busy day. The pool and mini-golf were a nice bonus. We would definitely stay at this beautiful cabin again! Brent and his family were very cordial and easy to work with and were very prompt with our security deposit refund.

We stayed in the Hilltop Hideaway 6/19-6/26/10. What a beautiful, clean, inviting property. Everything you need to relax and unwind. The cabin beautifully appointed, decorated and comfortable. Kitchen stocked for all your needs. If coming to the Pigeon Forge area, this is one not to miss. Couldn't ask for more. Thew owners are very professional and a delight to deal with. We'll be thanking them for the memories for years to come. The Hilltop Hideaway makes you want to purchase a cabin of your own.

This was our second time renting the cabin and again everything was nice and clean. We had a wonderful weekend riding our motorcycle, seeing the beautiful scenery and then just relaxing at the cabin. If you like a good homecooked meal we'd recommend the Applewood Restaurant, the chicken n dumplings are delicious. Also, for a dinner and show don't miss the Dixie Stampede...it was awesome. We would definately recommend this cabin to family and friends. Thanks again for sharing your cabin with us.

Stayed in this cabin May 2010 with friends. We've stayed in some nice places through the years and I have to say this was among the cleanest! It was spotless and nicely decorated. The loft area is perfect for kids with lots of movies and games. The hot tub comfortably seated 4 adults. I was pleased it had all the necessary items such as iron and kitchen items. The kids enjoyed using the indoor pool at clubhouse. The owner was very nice to work with. Prompt in all correspondence including very speedy return of security deposit. I would highly recommend this cabin!

Spring Break 2010

We greatly enjoyed our stay! The cabin was wonderful, well equipped, and clean. The children loved the game tables and the indoor swimming pool. The directions to the cabin were accurate and easy to find. The location of the cabin was close to many restaurants, attractions, and activities. The only problem we had was the traffic issue, the traffic was bumper to bumper on a regular basis. I would recommend this property to friends and family.

We stayed for five days during Spring Break. We had a total blast! This place was definitely worth every penny. The cabin was in incredible condition and off the main road far enough to where there was no noise, but about 3-5 minutes drive away from all the attractions and stores. The gated community was a very nice factor and the size of the cabin was absolutely perfect for the three of us. With the hot tub and putt putt course we really didn't have to leave, but had many opportunities to enjoy ourselves away from the community. There really wasn't a down side or negative comment to be made about this rental, but if I had to find SOMETHING to give constructive criticism it would have been the 10 am checkout time was a little too early, because every moment was a blast and I wish we didn't have to leave. Thank you so much for allowing us to stay at your cabin, and we'll be telling all our friends about how incredible our stay was.

We spent December 22 through December 26, 2009 in this beautifully decorated cabin. It surpassed all expectations. The hot tub was especially nice, but the pool table was a hit with the guys. Every need was provided for, fully stocked kitchen, grill, plenty of TVs and beautiful views. We were especially pleased with the location, secluded but close to the main attractions and neighbors within earshot. We already want to spend next Christmas there.

We had a wonderful weekend at Hilltop Hideaway. The cabin was so clean and comfortable and decorated beautifully. It was supplied with everything we needed for the weekend from towels to cooking utensils and dishes. Our visit was so relaxing and enjoyable because this cabin is so comfortable. Two of my girlfriends and I stayed at Hilltop Hideaway when we went on a Christmas shopping trip. Everything was perfect. We had plenty of room and the cabin was very clean. Loved how close the cabin was to the outlet stores. We would definitely stay there again!
