This is a lovely, quiet place to stay, I have enjoyed this rental from the first day I stayed here. It is a very Tranquil atmosphere here on the lake and Diane, the owner provides a mature, clean and quiet place on the lake. I would recommend these cabins or the house for anyone!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

I can't say enough good things about these cabins. Our family has stayed in 2 of the 3 summer cabins on the property, and both were perfect. The cabins were very clean, the lawn was HUGE, and the dock in protected Keeler Bay was great for the boat. The cabins are far enough apart from each other to provide quiet and privacy. I would strongly recommend renting.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 13/13

There are four houses here not the three they advertise. The pictures make you think they are the interior of the cottage they show, not true. The picture of the kitchen with the futon that is one cottage, and that is your living space. That futon is your sleeper sofa thats suppose to sleep two of your six people. There is no beach. THere is a sandy entry way to the lake but no beach. We wrote owner and asked if grills were gas or charcoal she wrote back all grills are gas but they are all charcoal. We rented all three cottages for the privacy and not mentioned was a fourth home right in the middle of the three cottages. Bathroom in one cottage is dangerously small if you are large or tall.Owner response: As the owner of Keeler Bay Cottages I am always forthright and honest with prospective guests – I have been for 20 years. I want my quests to be happy. Thus, I encourage prospective guests to ask many, many questions. When they do not I provide them with information they have not solicited. I also encourage people to communicate with me about the property via e-mail. Why? They can print a copy of the communication that they can refer to when making a decision. Most individuals look at a number of different properties and often they become confused about which is which. With hard copies for all properties in question prospective guests will have correct information at their fingertips for each property and be able to make a decision that best suits their needs and situation. In addition, if I sense that my property is “not a good fit”, I discourage the individual from renting. In terms of this review, the individual was told that there was another dwelling on the property. I never conveyed the message that they would have the place to themselves, however, in essence, they did. In terms of gas grills, the website clearly says charcoal grills – it always has. And small – the first thing that I communicate to prospective guests is that the cottages are small and a person can see that from the photos. Looking back at my records, this individual was given no incorrect information from me but I suspect that on her part she in fact made a number of erroneous assumptions that prompted her to rent, become dissatisfied, and ultimately submit this somewhat negative review!
