Just returned from a stay at this wonderful house over the holidays. The house is very spacious and I think that pictures don't do it justice. I do want to note, however, that there really are 3 bedrooms plus a very large loft upstairs that has beds in it, but I really wouldn't call the loft 2 bedrooms since there are no doors that separate the 2 sleeping areas in the loft and no closets. The house had plenty of space for 4 adults and 5 kids. The kitchen is very well equipped with everything you need to do any kind of cooking and there is a nice gas grill on the deck. Our stay was very comfortable and the views from the house are simply breathtaking. Jay Peak ski area was a short drive away (5 miles).Recommended for: Families with young children, adventure seekers, families with teenagers.
Owner response: I am so happy you enjoyed your stay. I just want to make it clear that the chalet can sleep 6 adults downstairs in the 3 bedrooms. The bedrooms are queen size beds. She is correct about the loft. It is open, but very long. There are 3 twin beds and a double bed. The front of the loft has a couch that opens to another bed. It is perfect for kids with a TV for games. There is a shuffle board in the loft and a full bath.

We recently spent a week at this Chalet. It was ideal for our 2 families with 4 teenage children. The chalet has plenty of room - the kids could chill out in the upstairs loft while on the main floor the adults could enjoy the nice gas fireplace and beautiful view of the local hills. It is close to Jay Peak Resort and with the new indoor water park, a great place with lots of entertainment options. We had dinner at local restaurants such as the Belfry and Bernie's - they were excellent. The chalet is well appointed and clean. Highly recommended for a ski holiday.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers.

For us it was the perfect place to stay, clean, great location and great amenities. We were in town to attend a wedding (8 adults) and the size of the house aloud us to entertain quests with no issues. The weather was great so we were out on the huge wrap around deck using the gas grill everyday. The local golf courses were in greaty shape Jay Peak's Championship Golf Course was very challenging but had incredible views and a very nice proshop and restaurant. Enosburg Falls Golf Course was easier but just as nice. Tousca's restaurant in Montgomery Center was the best for breakfast, dinner and a band started playing at 8:00. I would recommend this house to all.Recommended for: Families with young children, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers, families with teenagers, sightseeing.

We were 10 adutls and all of us greetly appreciate this property .We are looking forward to rent it next year for our annual ski trip.Recommended for: Age 55+, people with disabilities.
