Decked Out House is named after its designer decor and seven decks, all of which are at water's edge. Its private dock is ideal for lounging, swimming, fishing and launching house kayaks or canoes to paddle out over quiet lagoon waters. Its view is particularly lovely when evening reflections of lights sparkle off the water that's just 20 ft from the front deck.

At Decked Out House the size of each party’s accommodation is customized to its size, needs and budget. The house’s three floor levels can combine to function as one large very spacious house or can be divided into as many as three apartments one on each level. These are a large studio efficiency and two 2-bedroom self-catering units. In total, this splendid vacation house has 3 kitchens, 5 bedrooms, a sleeping loft, 4.5 baths and a very spacious great room with dining space for up 14 guests. Most often groups rent the combination of levels 2 and 3,the "Main House", with 4 plus bedrooms. The optional ground level studio suite can be added to act as a 5th bedroom suite.

Decked Out House specializes in vacations accommodations for groups, particularly families, although many a single person and couple have enjoyed the home's large waterfront studio. Keeping children in mind: All deck and stair railings are child safe and a crib. Child life-jackets are provided. The fiberglass canoe and wide based kayaks fit a small child plus an adult(s). The Nautical Family room offers with king and bunk beds and there is a 4th story low ceiling children’s loft.

This delightful vacation rental home is welcoming to both children and adults. It offers DSL, cable TV, board games such as Monopoly and Scrabble, poker chips, cards, bikes, two kayaks, a stable fiberglass canoe and swimming right off its dock. It has exceptionally handsome and fun decor, such as fine Mahogany paneled walls and cabinets, granite counter-tops, marble floor inlays and our mascot who inhabits the Lizard Loo.

The location Decked Out House is terrific, being by bordered by Caribbean lagoon waters on both its North and South sides that help ensure a refreshing breeze and spectacular deck-side views. Being located inside Placencia Village, it's just a 3-minute walk to one of Belize's best beaches and 5-minutes to shops, restaurants and thatched-roofed bars.

  • We rented the studio on the first floor for a month with Linda. The place was just perfect. It had everything we needed and if there was anything lacking the staff was more then willing to accomodate us and our needs. Linda was a pleasure to deal with and the views were spectacular.   • I was lucky to win a week at Decked Out House at an aution in Linda and Charles (the owners) home town. My husband and I took three other couples and we had so much fun. The house was perfect and we had the best vacation. We got great help with what we should do with our time and where to eat. The bikes were a really hit too and the kyaks.

  • We LOVED the house! It was perfect! We kept saying, "wouldn't this be fun with family or friends?" I hope we can come back someday. Malcolm was a wonderful resource. He answered all our questions and linked us with Junior who took us snorkeling and fed us like kings for two days. Once we got to Placencia and saw the other housing options, we knew we had made the best choice. This is truly a wonderful place.

  • My husband and I stayed at the Decked-Out-House in January. I would rate this rental as a four star accommodation. The owners are very friendly and provided a lot of good ‘local knowledge’ to help us get around. The house has so many windows that views were spectacular day and night on each side of the floor we stayed. There were also glass French doors leading to the huge deck on two sides of our unit. We were so impressed with the workmanship, beautiful wood floors and other beautiful wood used in the furniture. The home also had many special, unique and creative touches such as tiles, motifs and some fancy faucets. The overhead fans and shutters are adjustable to allow for breezes and cooling if desired. Since we stayed two weeks, we were pleased to have laundry facilities on the premises. We would not hesitate to return and stay again at the Decked-Out-House.

  • Linda and Charlie (owners of Decked Out House) were extremely helpful and friendly and made our stay at the "Decked Out House" a comfortable and fun experience. 3 of us stayed on the third floor "Palm Suite". The place is absolutely gorgeous and extremely spacious. The decks are excellent places to hang out and watch sunrises or sunsets. We had a ton of fun riding the complimentary Cruiser bikes into town (about a 5 minute easy ride to the furthest point at the end of town) I can't say enough good things about the place. If you're contemplating staying there, I say do it without hesitation. It was the best place we stayed in Belize!

  • What a wonderful place! The house is just perfect and I love the decor. I would recommend Decked Out House to anyone. It has a lovely open-air feeling to it with all the French windows and doors and there is always a gentle cooling breeze flowing through. I loved waking up in the morning to take my coffee - and relaxing in the evening - on the decks overlooking the water. It is all sooooo peaceful. There are bikes to ride and a house canoe to explore with and the beach is a very easy, short walk. Many thanks also to Patty, the house manager, for being so friendly and helpful.   • The group I travelled with was a family who adopted me for the week. We are actually neighbors and friends. I rented the apartment below the main house and was afforded the best of all worlds by having all the privacy I neeeded yet full access to join the group upstairs whenever I wanted. The downstairs apt had easy access to the dock and areas outside for lounging and my favorite, morning tea in the adirondack chairs. This is a lovely place for small or large groups. I highly recommend it.
