The perfect place for a small family or up to four adults. Special discount for 1-2 people. We visit often ourselves and have personally furnished it for comfort and ambiance. This is as much our home as is our principal residence. We want our guests to feel as if they are family.
Our cedar log cottage is less than one mile to village beach (restricted to guests and owners), golf course, rec center, boat launch and casino; one and a half miles to skiing. Got a boat? We have two driveways, either can accommodate most recreational craft. Want privacy? Our backyard and Hot Springs model spa are fenced in. Level roads throughout the subdivision, along with its location close to the lake and below the heaviest snow, make winter access relatively easy. Large two-car garage with level driveway. House is on a spacious corner lot with lawn areas front and back ideal for kids’ play. Located near the former Bonanza Ponderosa set, it is also a short drive to the incomparable Sand Harbor State Beach, home to the summer Shakespeare Festival and the most scenic beach with the best swimming on the entire lake.
The home is ideal for a family of four or four adults- an infant would be fine in addition to the four, but you would have to supply a porta-crib. However, no children under 5 years of age unless parents were prior guests(pre- toddler infant OK though). There is a queen-size bed in the master bedroom and a single bed in the second bedroom as well as one in the office. There are two bathrooms: one with a shower and the other with a combo bath/shower. Parties of one or two people will receive a discount off the advertised price.
Beach chairs for the sand and adjustable Adirondack chairs for the decks are available. Large and small charcoal barbecues. All linens, including beach towels.
The heat is forced air gas and there is also a thermostat controlled gas fireplace in the living room that is perfect for turning snowy days and nights into cozy affairs. Cable and 27 inch TV plus stereo. Washer and dryer. For those who must keep in touch with the office, unlimited free long distance calling is available.
Incline Village is completely self-contained. You will find full services immediately on the main road through town. Plenty of restaurants are sprinkled throughout the village and there is a movie theatre and a bowling alley as well. The village also contains a small private college, an excellent library and a beautifully designed recreation center that houses an in-door 25-meter Olympic pool, large fully equipped workout center, full hardwood basketball court, along with other recreation facilities and meeting rooms. The Hyatt Resort and Casino is the best gambling facility on the north shore. Boat, kayak and PWC rentals are available at various locations within a short distance. In addition to the nearby Diamond Peak Ski area (five minutes from the house), we are about 20 minutes from alpine skiing at Northstar and Mount Rose, the latter representing the highest base elevation around the lake. Squaw Valley and Alpine Meadows are also within easy reach, not to mention resorts in the Donner Pass. Cross Country resorts with fully groomed trails are within a short drive at Spooner Lake, Tahoe City and Northstar. It is also worth a little extra driving time to hit the XC trails at Tahoe Donner and Royal Gorge. You will see some incredible scenery at all of these Alpine and Nordic venues.
