An elegant bungalow-style holiday house in beautiful countryside inland from Puerto Pollença. Villa Aina Francisa Juanita has a lovely garden and eco-friendly salt swimming pool with open views across olive groves to the Tramuntana Mountains, the property has a gated driveway.
Inside, the house is a stylish combination of Mallorcan tradition and modern design - with white walls, cool tiled floors, lovely antique furniture and pale linens. There's a long living and dining space with double doors onto the pool-terrace and with great country views. There are comfortable sofas, satellite TV and a DVD/CD stereo, a long antique trestle table and chairs, and a dresser. The kitchen is light and well planned with lots of storage space in pale wood units, and appliances including a dishwasher, a microwave, an oven and hob and a fridge-freezer. Laundry can be done in the separate utility room near the pool.
There are three pretty bedrooms - a great double and two twin rooms. All the bedrooms are air-conditioned. There are two family bathrooms at the house too.
The gardens are a wonderfully relaxing space with uninterrupted views of the mountains across farmland and olive groves. There's a lovely pool, surrounded by sun-terraces and lawns, as well as Mediterranean shrubs and plants. There's a fantastic covered terrace overlooking the pool - more like a second living space - with a long dining table and chairs, and a barbecue kitchen area with a second dishwasher, a fridge-freezer and a gas hob and microwave. This is an incredibly relaxing place to sit with a book, watch children playing in the garden, or eat, talk and relax - from breakfast time right through until the evening. There's also a poolside-shower room.
