Poolside Retreat is a private two-story townhome nestled in the lush tropical landscaping that surrounds the gorgeous resort-style private pool in the Key West Country Club. Your back yard gate will be just steps from the pool's edge. The neighborhood is a quiet oasis that will provide some respite from the madcap activities just minutes away in Old Town.
On the first floor, the modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you might need to prepare the most elaborate meal. The living room and dining area are airy and comfortable, with plenty of windows.The large sofa converts to a queen size bed, for additional guests. Large sliding glass doors in the living room open directly to an over-sized porch, perfect for outdoor entertaining year round. There is also a powder room on the first floor.
On the second floor, there are two master bedroom suites. Each suite has a private full bath and a private porch. The first suite has a king bed that can be converted to two twins. The second suite has a queen bed. There are also extra windows for plenty of natural light and large closets for ample storage.
There is an overhead fan in every room, upstairs and downstairs. There are three televisions, one in the living room and one in each of the master suites. Washer and dryer are on the second floor. Digital cable, wireless high speed Internet and free long distance telephone service (to Europe, too) are included with your rental.
Outside, the tropical landscaping has been carefully designed to provide great views while still maintaining your privacy.
The gated community at the Key West Golf Club offers 24-hour security, two resort-style community swimming pools and plenty of parking. Just a short bike ride from Old Town and the beaches, the Key West Golf Club offers the best of both worlds: you will be very close to all of Key West's many attractions but you can go home to the privacy and solitude of a gated community.

Our stay at Poolside Retreat was fabulous! Fresh, clean, beautiful decor and only steps away from the pool. The listing description was accurate, the listing photos accurately reflected the rental’s appearance and amenities, and I would highly recommend the unit to anyone wanting a relaxing "home away from home" by the pool. I'm already planning our return there next year.
Recommended for:Girls getaway, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

We stayed in "Poolside Retreat" for 2 months this winter (2009) and we are will keep coming back. It is in a perfect location right on the pool. The home is supplied with everything you need to feel like you are at home. This is our 4th year renting from the owners and we plan to continue for many more.

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely condo for 6 months. The place was immaculate, beautifully and comfortably furnished. Best of all, it has 4 porches, 2 in the front and 2 in the back of the property. We spent long relaxing hours on the back porch off the master bedroom, reading & drinking wine, just lost in the lush treetop surroundings. Best of all, it's adjacent to the pool; it's really like having a pool in your own backyard! The beautiful tropical landscaping surrounding the pool is quite spectacular and all of our guests were quite impressed with it's "high class" resort feel. In fact, the entire golf club complex is beautifully maintained and a pleasure to just drive or walk through. What made our stay that much more special were the Santrys, their goal is to accommodate their tenants and to make their vacation rental experience the best it can be. They did not disappoint, just a very wonderful couple. I would recommend their properties to all of my family and friends.
