This impressive, luxury, Mallorcan stone mansion house is of outstanding quality and design and just minutes’ walk from Pollensa’s main square. This villa has all the advantages of a townhouse but with the bonus of a fabulous pool and large garden, with stunning views of the Puig Maria mountain.
The front entrance has a covered porch and main door opening into an elegant hall with exposed beamed ceilings, high, graceful archways and a sweeping staircase leading to the top level rooms. Opulent would be the word to describe the interior style that has highest quality classic furniture. No minimalism here! The ceramic flooring throughout is rich in warm colours and has bright paintings by local artists and decorative plates on the walls. All the rooms are very light and spacious and there are many comfortable areas to enjoy, especially good for two families or more holidaying together, where each can have their own private space.
To the left of the entrance is an arch into a dining area with windows looking out to the front of the house. There is a large, lacquered dining table and matching chairs with a chandelier and winged armchairs in the corner for quiet reading.
The family lounge has inviting, sumptuous sofas and a low wood coffee table. There is an open decorative fireplace with side units with abundant decorative glassware and china. Double doors lead out to the terrace and gardens. The walls are decorated with local embroidery and everywhere has lots of homely detail.
The sizeable kitchen has two entrances, one from the main hall opposite the front door and one from the lounge. It has fitted dark wood units and marble work surfaces with all modern appliances. A split-level oven and fitted microwave are next to a large fridge-freezer and there is a full-size table and chairs here for more “informal” eating. There is a separate utility area with washing machine and ironing facilities and also a separate walk-in dispenser for extra storage space. It also has delightful small-paned windows looking over the pool and gardens.
The decorative stairs lead to a spacious hallway on the second level. On the left is a pretty double bedroom which has doors out to a small terrace where there are two large gym machines for those that want to keep fit whilst on holiday. This smaller terrace also gives access to a large upper terrace with a stairway down to the pool and gardens.
On the right of the main stairs are two more bedrooms, one is a twin and a further double bedroom. Both of these rooms have full-height windows looking over the front of the villa.
There is a full family bathroom on the left and then comes the magnificent master suite.
This bedroom is extremely large with a king-size bed and lots of natural light. It has a sofa and comfy chairs in one corner and an impressive ensuite full bathroom with large whirlpool bath. There is also a multi gym-machine in here for clients use.
A door in the corner leads to the large upper terrace overlooking the pool and gardens and the incredible all-round mountain scenery.
At the back of the villa with doors from the lounge and from the kitchen, is an extremely large covered terrace overlooking the pool. It’s furnished with a large dining table with wicker chairs and comfortable seating. It has a feature well and steps up to an upper sun terrace which runs the full width of the house. Pretty plant pots and foliage make this area a delightful spot. There is even a exotic banana plant here.
A delightful barbecue casita open on one side overlooks the pool. You will also find here an electric oven and mallorcan bread oven as well as an additional dining table here for summer eating. It is large and spacious with high beams and traditional open stone walls. More comfortable seating can be found here in the corner where to relax in the shade next to the pool.
Next to the barbecue casita is an exterior bathroom with shower and WC. There are superb well-kept lawns and sun-terracing with citrus trees and a variety of colourful flowers and shrubs making pool and garden area a fantastic place to be.
