I can not say enough about our stay at this villa. What an incredible experience for me and my guests. We all felt like we had so much privacy and we each had our own room. We have stayed in Conchas Chinas and Mismaloyia previously but really wanted to experience staying in town. We had to have a pool and this is one of the only in town Villa's, this size, with a pool. The staff was incredible and felt like a part of our group. Breakfast every morning was amazing. We also loved walking to the restaurants and felt safe. Everything is a 5 minute walk from the beach, shopping, galleries and night life. We loved this vacation and highly recommend this property.

I was recently fortunate enough to be a guest at this lovely villa and found the description of it right on target. The views are hypnotic, really beautiful! The house is quite spacious, clean and comfortable as shown in the photos with every amenity provided. We were so impressed with the gracious housekeeping team who took such excellent care of us. The breakfasts they prepared were the most enjoyable meals of the day. We felt safe and pampered and would love a return visit. I think my friends would love it, too. The restaurants along the river were my favorite where waiters pointed out iguanas nearby. At another we actually viewed a whale splashing out in the bay from our bayside table.

The week went too fast in this awesome villa that could easily accommodate 10 or 12. I was impressed with how clean everything was, the views from each level, the spaciousness, and the quality of the service (breakfast and cleaning each day). I'll definitely be back. Felt safe the whole time. The villa is within 5 minutes of shopping and good restaurants. It's out of the main stream where you feel secluded, yet close enough to catch a cab. There are AC controls in each room to comfort each person's preferences. The courtyard locks so you can open the front door to create a breeze from the front through to the patio.

A great week in a great location. The best part of our stay was the outstanding service and attention from Cristian and Mariecruz . . . they were attentive, accommodating, and friendly. The house was always clean and the breakfasts were fantastic. The only reason I gave a four rather than a five-star rating would be the condition of the house. It's a really good place, but the owner just needs to invest in a few upgrades. Then it could be a great place.

I wish I could say this place is amazing and fantastic and you should rent it, but I can't. My experience at this property did not meet my expectations and caused embarrassment with my guests. The house itself is nice and has a lot going for it, but it has fallen into disrepair and neglect. There seemed to be no thought put into our arrival, even though we rented it for a week at the most expensive time of year. The house ran out of propane so the stove and hot water heater didn't work. In a week's time I got 2 hot showers. The tank for the gas grill was empty - never got to use it. The pool required us to perform maintenance on it. My guests in the 2 lower rooms complained to me of intense smell of mold - one chose to sleep on the couch in the living room instead. The sink in the master bedroom was only partially functional, and the house as a whole was not really cleaned well when we arrived, despite having a 2 week gap from the last renters. The coffee filter hadn't been changed since the previous visit and had so much mold on it, it could have walked out on its own. The stairwell smelled like someone had thrown up there and it hadn't been cleaned up. In general, the property was coming apart at the seams and needed a good, cleaning, painting, investment and TLC. Unfortunately, this property won't be considered as an option for next year's trip. I wish I could say something different.

We had a wonderful vacation in Puerto Vallarta and the house was perfect for all of our needs. Within minutes walking distance to local restaurants, the beach, bars and downtown the location of this house is ideal for a fabulous vacation. The house staff was very helpful, cooked us breakfast every morning, cleaned the entire house every day and even cooked us dinner on request. The owner was more than happy to help us with any questions or concerns we had before our stay, which was a big plus. We were very pleased with the home - it was well kept and very clean. The weather was lovely and the locals are friendly - we would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Puerto Vallarta!

What a wonderful villa to spend the holidays!

We loved celebrating Christmas and New Year's at this beautiful contemporary villa! We enjoyed the fireworks displays along the entire Puerto Vallarta shorelines from the wonderful pool and hot tub. Great amenities throughout and a stunning view from the awesome brick arched living area. The villa has a great layout and was perfect for a small party we threw with about 50 people. All the bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. All of the services promised were delivered! We love the location and the ease we had getting to restaurants, the beach and shopping. After staying in condo units and hotels, this residence sold us on having the whole package and relaxing space for our Puerto Vallarta vacations. This gem of a place is one that we are already planning to book again for our next trip to Puerto Vallarta in a few months!

House Need Updating

We just returned from a week with friends in PV, and we all stayed at this house. PROS: The house staff, Jorge and Mariann, were great! Jorge cooked us breakfast every morning, and was there to assist with whatever we needed. Mariann cleaned the entire house everyday, which was a tall chore for nine people in the house. We could not ask for better house staff. The location is great. As noted in previous posts, the house sits on top of a cliff basically, so getting to/from the house can be a bit scary and cumbersome. There are great restaurants within reasonable walking distance and amazing views from the top floor balcony and pool area. CONS: The house needs some updating. Neither the hot tub or pool ever heated up. The pool equipment did not appear to operate appropriately. The DISH Network satellite TV failed to work in several of the rooms, and the rooms that did have operating TV did not have a wide selection of channels. The house has two gas hot water heaters. However, on multiple occasions the water heaters stuff off forcing many in the house to take (very) cold showers. Several of the ceiling fans did not operate, and many of the light bulbs needed replacing. The oven was not operable, so cooking meals was not an option sometimes. I have no doubt that with a little attention this villa could be back to its former glory. Until that time, I would not recommend it to friends or return myself.

We rented this house for two weeks in April 2009. It was my 50th birthday and I wanted a place that all of my family could stay together. It was fabulous. Omar, Carla, and Ricky were so nice and very accomodating. They took care of anything we asked. Omar and Ricky made breakfast several mornings and dinner a few evenings. It was better than anything we ate at any of the resturants. Walking up the hill can be a little trecherous, especially if you are trying to do it in cute shoes. But the good thing, you will burn off all the calories from drinking and eating!! We loved it and we would rent it again if the need for that big of a house arises.

I was able to stay at Tres Vistas for 6 nights including the 4th of July weekend - amazing! The first day I was exhausted from traveling, so I simply hopped in the pool and enjoyed the weather for a few hours before getting recommendations from the house man about where to have dinner. The WiFi was great for getting some work done, every room had a TV and satellite connection, I plugged my iPod in for music in the house and by the pool, the house man also helped me get taxis and recommended places to go as well as made breakfast every morning! It was just easy to have a great time in Puerto Vallarta with everything taken care of for me. I would definitely return... with more friends.

What a beautiful house! The views were spectacular. The best part though was Omar and his wife Carla. They met us upon our arrival at the house and took care of our every need. We had fresh guacamole and margaritas, gourmet breakfasts every morning, and anything else that we needed! They were so kind and helpful. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone who wants to visit Puerto Vallarta in style!!!

OH MY GOSH!!! Talk about utopia! This is it! No kidding, I wanted to kidnap Omar and Carla and take them home with me. Every need we had was met, the food that Omar made was us was wonderful and we felt very very spoiled. The house is wonderful and I felt like a queen getting to stay there. The views of the city are fabulous. It was hard to leave, believe me! Everyone must have the "Tres Vistas" experience at least once, but for me, I hope many times. Oh, and the pictures...they're right on the money.

Just returned from a 5 night stay and had a wonderful time. Tres Vistas is a spectacular house with amazing views of the town, 5 very spacious bedrooms, and enough TVs/stereos/etc to ensure you'd never have to leave the house if you didn't want to. (But you should!) The pool and hot tub are great and I think one day we spent almost 8 hours just floating in them, soaking up some sun. But Omar and Carla are definitely the best part of the experience -- they take care of every detail and make wonderful breakfasts. There doesn't seem to be anything Omar can't find or arrange! Highly recommended. We'll be back!

I booked this house for myself and 7 friends/family. This place is amazing! The minute we got dropped off from the airport, we were welcomed by Omar and Carla with Margarita's and guacamole. We stayed here for 5 nights and NO ONE wanted to leave yesterday!! Yes, there is a steep hill to the house, but Omar will arrange taxi service if needed. We will definitely be back!! Thank you Tres Vistas for making our trip one of our best yet! Also... Take advantage of Omar's cooking.. It's AMAZING. We miss it already. This house has it all.. surround sound with outdoor speakers by the pool, breathtaking views, infinity pool, close walk to the beach, and the best staff you could ask for. I highly recommend this house to anyone looking.

This house was absolutely amazing. Myself and 12 college friends rented this place for a week and couldn't have been happier. The views from the multiple decks were simply stunning and even though there were 13 of us, the house never seemed cramped. Omar, Carla, and Victor are three of the nicest people you will ever meet. While the house was stunning, it was these three that made this trip absolutely amazing for us all. Omar cooked breakfast for us three times and dinner for us once, outdoing himself each time. Omar set up zip-lining, ATV tours, and a booze cruise for us so that all we had to do was show up on time. Also, he and Victor took us around the city as needed and even drove us to costco when we needed the spaciousness of a van to bring back all of our groceries. Every day, Carla, Omar's wife made the house look as beautiful as when we first set foot in it. We are already considering booking this place for a week next year! Do yourself a favor and check this place out.

Stayed at Tres Vistas for 4 nights in June 2008 and loved it. The house is very well located - close to everything, and has been nicely updated (nice pool and hot tub). The houseman Omar and his wife Carla are just great, and really make sure you are comfortable, too (and Omar cooks awesome Mexican dinners and breakfasts - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED). Beware that some cab drivers have a very difficult time finding the house - so get good directions from the owners (tell the cab driver to look for Aguacate Street). The house is on a very steep hill - so beware - but the views are great. A bit further up is a wonderful restaurant called the Vista Grill (amazing views and food to die for). Everyone in our group of 10 had a fantastic time.

Tres Vistas was unbelievable. My husband and I took my whole family to PV for our honeymoon and loved every minute of it. Tres Vistas is in the perfect location because it is close to everything. Everyday we would have activities to do during the day and then spend the night in the pool. The funniest activity we did in PV was the private deep sea fishing boat that Omar helped set up for us and the Dune Buggy tours. So much fun! Omar and his wife were very helpful and kind. It was great to be greated by friendly faces. Everyone has been calling and asking to get Omar's gaucamole recipe. It sure was delicious. Tres Vistas was a beautiful house with limitless views of PV. I would definitely reccommend Tres Vistas to anyone who wants to experience PV culture and be close to it all.

I booked Tres Vistas for my 40th birthday. The house is well appointed and equipped with many amenities. This house was a perfect setting for gathering my friends together to celebrate. Omar was accommodating in taking care of all of our needs and was especially helpful in helping arrange transportation for all my guests, restaurant reservations, and all the last minute details of my birthday dinner. I look forward to staying at Tres Vistas many times in the future!

I have stayed at Tres Vistas three times already. It is a very unique property in that it has a terrific view over the city and bay and yet is in the middle of south old town two blocks from restaurant row (Basillo Badillo). The beautiful modern architecture includes a soaring vaulted living room that is pretty spectacular. The owners have added all the comfort and conveniences that one could want. This is a great value especially for a group of people. I'm returning soon.

Tres Vistas is the BEST!! It is a beautiful property with great views and lots of room for everyone. Omar and Carla were awesome!! This is the best value around. I hate to give too good of a review because then it won't be available the next time I want to stay but I can't say enough good things about it. Booking and payment was so easy with Clint, he arranged our transfers from the Airport and back, the driver even stopped for us on the way to the house from the airport so we could change money and pick up a few items at the store. Omar had margaritas and guacamole waiting when we arrived at the house and truly took care of our every need during our stay. Carla even did our laundry the day before we left so we brought clean clothes home. It was the best way to spend a vacation. Truly relaxing and not only having all of your wishes taken care of but Omar anticipated our needs arranging massages, dinner reservations and grocery shopping. One small note there is a bit of a steep hill for 2 blocks from the main street to the house but taxis are very inexpensive if you don't want to walk. Thank you Omar, Carla and Clint!!

Perfect Trip - Nine people including our adult children from two blended families, spent 7 wonderful days at Tres Vistas. We can't stop thinking and talking about our experience. The house is spacious and beautiful, perfectfly located within walking distance of the beach, shops and restaurants. Every morning my boyfriend and I would slip out of the house for a walk through the neighborhoods - then wander home to a great breakfast with the whole family courtesy of Omar. Usually spent the day at our own private pool, then out at night. We had been nervously planning this vacation for quite some time, and can't think of any way this could have been better! Favorites - the master suite's shower and dressing room, the views from the terrace, the spiral staircase, the infinity pool and the fireplace! Thank you so much for making this the absolute best time ever! We - with all the kids in tow - hope to see you again next year!

What a wonderful vacation...we could not have had a better experience. We had a group of 8 and had more than enough space and privacy. Omar spoiled us with his breakfasts, snacks (he was kind enough to share his guacamole recipe with us) and his bartending abilities. We did the dune buggies on Sunday and had an absolute blast. We will definitely be making a return trip to PV and Tres Vistas. Much thanks to Darin, Clint, Omar and Carla!

Tres Vistas should really be known as INFINITE Vistas. The property sits atop one of the best scenic hills in Puerto Vallarta's Romantic Zone (Zona Romantica). From the house's vantage point, you get an entire view of Puerto Vallarta. The owners, Darin and Clint were wise to select such a great spot, as everything was so close that not once did I feel the need to hail a cab to get home or elsewhere. The beach is only a 6 minute walk away! The house manager Omar makes the most exquisite Mexican breakfasts I've ever tasted. Request the FRENCH Omellete!!!! It's French with a Mexican Twist. Every room was equipped with an iPod dock. Many hotels are only at the stage of thinking about this feature and this B&B already has it!! Another feature that I loved is that Carla, the housekeeper, is available to wash your clothing if need be. This place exceeded my expectations and I want to be back very very very soon!

Our stay in Mexico was great. The house is beautiful and Omar and his wife took good care of us. My younger son who is 10 loved the pool at the house. We would spend all day at the beach and then come home to the pool. There where 10 of us and it seemed you had the house to your self. When we visit Puerto Vallarta again I would love to stay in the house again. Thank You, Rhonda Griffin and Family

The house was everything the website showed it to be and more! There were 10 of us sharing the house for 8 days and it still felt like we had a lot of privacy! Omar's cooking was wonderful, I highly recommend you have him make breakfast for you! He was also a great resource to make all our activity reservations - canopy tours, snorkeling and the Pirate Ship were great fun! The house is conveniently located right in Old Town, a short walk to Los Muertos beach and to all the great restaurants and Open Market for great bargain shopping. Best of all was the pool and hot tub!! We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this house to others; we will certainly go back as well!!

We had a great pampered vacation at Tres Vistas. Omar, the houseman, made amazing breakfast, brought us to the grocery store,recommended great restaurants, and took us on a tour of beaches. We travelled with another family and had four kids between us. The house was great for providing privacy for both families. Maid service was top notch from Chue. My only complaint would be the infinity pool - great for adults but a little scary for kids. Views & sunsets were great! Thanks to Omar & the owners for a relaxing vacation.

We just got back from a wonderful stay at Tres Vistas. The house is absolutely amazing! Not only is it HUGE with every amenity you can think of, it's also just a short walk to great restaurants and the beach. Omar and the maid were wonderful. They were also really flexible in accomodating our needs. We had a fabulous time there and would certainly go back.

Our stay at Tres Vistas was absolutely fabulous! Omar and Carla made this trip fantastic! Our transportation to and from the house was pre arranged by the owner and Omar before we arrived. Arriving at the house, we found margaritas and fresh made guacamole that was excellent. The pictures do not speak for a thousand words in this case. The house is located just blocks from restaurants and entertainment. It is exceptionally clean, very well cared for and has everything that you need to make your trip memorable. I can not say enough about our experience staying at Tres Vistas. The description states, Houseman will prepare a simple breakfast, but there was nothing simple about Omar's cooking ability. Treat yourself to a meal - you will be glad you did. This was a very positive experience and we will be back. Thanks to the owners for renting their wonderful home and cheers to Omar & Carla, we miss you!

Just got back from Tres Vistas and it was a beautiful experience. The place let me feel like a celebrity at his vacation home. Omar (the houseman) saw to our every need and was very friendly. I had to pry myself out of the pool. The house is right in the heart of everything you would ever want to do. Great shops, tasty restaurants, and beautiful beaches. If you're not afraid of dirt, you HAVE to do the dune buggy tour! I had a blast and am already planning my next trip. You will love it.
